The crowd started criticizing Tristan. He looked upset and had no choice but to get in the car first.
At that moment, Zachary was hiding in a secluded corner of the classroom, but he could still see what was going on with Tristan.
He couldn’t help feeling worried when he saw that Tristan wasn’t leaving.
He couldn’t believe how calculative, Tristan was to have come to the kindergarten. He didn’t know that Tristan was thinking of him like an actual son; instead, he just thought Tristan had come for revenge.
Zachary didn’t know what to do at that moment. After all, he could run, but he couldn’t hide forever. Just
as he was lost in thought, he received a call on his watch–it was from Kiki.
He immediately answered it. “Hello, Kiki.”
“Where are you, you brat? I’m at the kindergarten’s entrance, but I can’t see you.” She was standing outside the kindergarten and scanning the area.
Zachary noticed that the scary–looking bodyguards had left once she had arrived. So, he ran out right away. “I’m here.”
Kiki looked at him in confusion. “Why didn’t you wait for me at the gate?”
“Kiki, the man from before was here again…” He looked at her pitifully and pointed at the luxurious car not
far away.
Inside the car, Tristan frowned and immediately said to Matt, “Drive.”
They were in a school zone, and there were many kids around. So, the driver didn’t dare to start driving. Just as he started the car, an innocent–looking child and a woman in high heels approached them
furiously.
Kiki placed her hand on the car’s window and waited for Tristan. “What in the world are you doing, Mr.
Shaw?”
When he saw how angry she looked, he was speechless.
“Don’t you feel ashamed for holding a grudge against a kid?” She warned him, “If I see you harassing my son again, you’d better get ready to go to jail.”
Before he could say anything, she left while holding Zachary’s hand. Zachary turned his head back to look at Tristan’s car and smiled. It seemed to him that he had found Tristan’s weakness.
Meanwhile, the atmosphere in the car turned cold.
Tristan didn’t understand how he had harassed Zachary when he had just come to see his own son. He couldn’t believe he would have to go to jail for that!
His dashing face turned gloomy at that moment. “What are you waiting for? Drive!” he said in a low voice.
Upon hearing that, Matt hurriedly started driving.
While Kiki took Zachary to her car, there were two figures standing near them. One of them was Shannon, while the other person was her secretary, Mandy Hills.

Ever since Shannon had seen Zachary, she had come to pick up Malcolm as an excuse to see him.
When she saw Kiki that day, she couldn’t help talking to Kiki. She approached Kiki in her high heels and asked, “Are you Zac’s mom?”
Although she was in her 50s, she took good care of herself and looked like she was in her 30s.
Kiki hadn’t thought that another villain would show up right after she had gotten rid of Tristan. Since Shannon had bullied Yvette a lot, Kiki didn’t treat her with any respect. “What if I am?”
Shannon was stunned. Mandy was about to scold Kiki, but Shannon stopped her. Then, she forced out a gentle smile, which left Kiki feeling weird.
Kiki had once seen Shannon when she had attended a banquet with Michael. However, she had never seen Shannon smile before. She couldn’t believe that Shannon was actually smiling at her now.
“Zac is just too adorable. I was wondering, could he come to Lane Mansion to play with Malcolm for a few days?” Shannon liked Zachary a lot, and she was willing to humble herself for him.
She thought Kiki would agree to her request right away. Unexpectedly, the latter scoffed. “No, I’m not going to let my son go somewhere unfamiliar. What if he runs into a bad guy?”
After saying that, Kiki shot Zachary a meaningful look, so he went with the flow. “See you, Mrs. Lane.”
