Chapter 101
“Looking for me?” Joseph leaned his head out, a cigarette between his fingers, his sharp features wrapped in a cold aura. “If you’re here to talk about releasing Ella, Mr. Yanwood, you’re just wasting your time”
Stephen’s face twitched. “Mr. Joseph Chapin, I wonder what crime my daughter has committed
Joseph exhaled a puff of smoke. “You’ve heard about the new heir of the Heartland Chamber of Commerce, right?”
Stephen didn’t understand why he suddenly mentioned this but nodded. “Yes, I’m aware”
Joseph said. “That heir is Lenore. I wouldn’t dare provoke her, yet your daughter wants to hurt her friend’s leg.”
“This name rings a bell. Lenore… Is she Troy’s daughter, the one who was raised in a small town? She’s the heiress to the Heartland Chamber of Commerce?!
“If that’s true, how could Troy be unaware, and still rely on me to join the Heartland Chamber of Commerce Stephen’s small eyes widened in disbelief, his face full of astonishment.
Joseph flicked the ash from his cigarette and said casually, “Well, Lenore is kind–hearted and doesn’t plan on doing anything to your daughter. Since you are here, just wait for a bit and then take her back with you”
With that said, he put out his cigarette and headed into the innermost room.
Two minutes later, a piercing scream pierced through the roof. Everyone who heard it shuddered, a chill running down their spines. It was Ella’s
voice.
Stephen’s expression changed, and he rushed inside. What are you doing to my daughter Mark quickly stopped him.
One minute later, Ella was carried out, her legs covered with a white cloth, and she had already passed out, her face pale, Stephen shakily lifted the cloth, instantly stepping back in fright. He pointed at Mark and the others, saying, “You… you acted unlawfully
Joseph sneered. “She ruined someone’s legs, so it’s fair for her to lose a pair. He scrolled through the photos he had just taken on his phone and
clicked his tongue. It seemed a bit more serious than expected, but it should be okay. He sent the pictures to Lenore.
Early the next morning, Victoria visites Emily at the hospital. Emily was taken aback by the kindness and said, “Thank you, Ms. Harris”
Victoria shook her head and sighed, “It’s my fault for not teaching well. Just focus on your recovery, okay?” Bonnie was there too. Victoria couldn’t resist asking. “Bonnie, would you like to be my apprentice?”
Bonnie paused, pursing her lips, saying, “I considered it before yesterday,”
“So, you don’t want to anymore?” This was the second time someone had turned her down, Victoria looked conflicted, but didn’t say anything more, She sighed softly and left with her entourage. She still had one last show to perform today.
Bonnie had come here wanting to rely on herself to join the dance club, hoping that one day she could stand alongside Lenore. But this trip turned out to be full of trouble.
Sitting on the bed, Bonnie was peeling an apple for Emily with a knife, and whispered, “When your parents arrive, we’ll return to Jinslenburg?”
It was a big issue for Emily, and she couldn’t avoid it, so she told her parents. They rushed to Senanville overnight and would be arriving soon Emily pouted and asked, “Will we still be able to meet in the future?”
Bonnie paused for a moment and then looked up with a smile. “Of course, we can. Don’t worry Lenore will find a way to help you heal your leg, I promised that I would teach you to dance.”
Emily looked at her and nodded. “Okay”
Ella woke up to find herself in a hospital bed. She instantly remembered the moment Joseph burned her, the stabbing pain made her shiver, and she quickly threw off the covers. Her legs were tightly bandaged
“Ella, you’re finally awake!” Rachel entered the room with the door pushed open. Seeing Ella’s eyes open, she hurried over
Ella was worried.
d. “My legs Mom, my legs…

Rachel’s face turned suff. The doctor said you… can’t dance anymore…
Those words struck like a bolt from the blue. Ella’s mind went blank, and she collapsed back onto the bed, her face pale. Her life was over.
