Wedding
“Erm.” What the fuck just happened?

“Princess, my main issue was he was too old for you, I got over that with Jasper. James had made it known you were worth dying for plenty of times, but his age and wildness were the issue. You need to get in and clean.” My dad looks at me.
Turning I look at James. “Thank you, for not just driving past.” I hug him and he screams.
“Fucking hell Harl my shirt!”
“Oops.” I smile and hear my dad and everyone laugh. He turns asking how bad it is and I bite my lip. “Looks great.”
“You’re a bad liar, go get married, I need to get changed before my meeting, again!” I watch as he gets in the car, turning I look at my dad.
“Everyone give us a minute.” I watch them walk away. “Look, I realised a lot princess. James loved you, I was the issue. He made it known you were worth dying for. His age and how he acted with women caused
hate him before. Today, I freaked out because as I said, James loves you to some extent, I noticed that after everything with Jasper. I panicked. I didn’t want Jasper hurt.”

“I would never cheat on Jasper, Dad, James is amazing, but I could never go back.”
“You did princess, he took great joy in saying it when we showed up that night.”
“Dad, I wasn’t with James that night. I was with Jasper, I rushed there after and James agreed to cover for me.” He stands shocked, and his eyes widen.
“But I went to Jasper… Forget it, I will back off from James, just no

more telling me about Jasper. Get in and clean.” I nod and walk past. I thought he would have realised it was me with Jasper that day. I guess at that moment my dad realised it was me he heard and me on the floor next to the bed.
Washing my hands I walk out and my dad is waiting.
“You couldn’t go a day without getting your hands dirty could you?” He looks at me amused.
“Can I get married now?” Everything keeps going wrong. He nods, and we walk through, I watch Jasper turn and stare at me. Yeah, he thought I hadn’t chosen one of his dresses. Standing with him we listen and I stare at him.
“Baby girl.” He sighs and I smile. “You turned my life upside down. I felt drawn in that first night at the club, watching you dance all I wanted was to get to know you, see you, and touch you. We were both right, that meeting after was quiet, but I couldn’t stop seeing you in my mind on replay. I spent the whole weekend the same and by Monday. night I had decided I would go back to the club and find that woman and demand to know who she was.” I smile at his words. “Turns out you were her, I saw the tattoo and I freaked out, I told myself to make you hate me even if it meant hurting you. Yet every time I saw you I craved you. I wasn’t lying when I said I instantly wanted you when I saw you before I realised it was you who had danced. It had been years. since I saw you, and instantly you had me hooked and pulled in. The more I fought against you the more I felt I needed and wanted you. I realised you were worth dying for, and you always will be.”

He kisses me gently. “You saw the secrets I had hidden, you saw parts of me I thought no one knew, but you did. I meant it when I said your scars reflect the darkness within me. They were destined to belong together just like us.” He kisses me again and I wipe my eyes.
