Fear
His words are soft and he holds me against him.

“Look, it’s six, so how about I take you back to the hotel? I go to the club and you come through? Go out with little D, as I am sure your dad has been blowing up your phone.” He rolls me over to look at him.
“Fine Daddy.”
“I promise to try to stop asking baby girl, it will be hard, but I will try.” He kisses me, his hands pulling me against him. I don’t want to move, I feel safe here with him wrapped around me. I sit up and get ready and he watches me. I know he has questions but for now, he isn’t asking.
Walking to his bike he stops and looks at me. “I’m hoping baby girl, in time you realise you can trust me enough to tell me.” His words are soft, but I don’t reply. I climb onto the bike and wrap my arms around him. He drops me off at the hotel and leaves, going to my bike I get on it and go to the club.
Stopping, I walk in and see Jasper sitting with my dad.
“Now I have a theory sugar, Jasper seems to disappear a lot. From what I hear far more than ever before, and it seems to have begun right around when you showed up.” I hear Joel and freeze.
“He’s my dad’s best friend, so whatever you think is happening isn’t. Plus, he’s an asshole that uses women, just like you.” Okay, he doesn’t, not in the same sense as Joel, but my dad’s words make it clear women. are happy to be used by him, which is fucked up.

“You can’t avoid me forever Harl, you’re mine, I own you. So you might think hiding from your parents will work, but it won’t. I have a plan Harl, and soon I will either have you or you lose your dad.”
I walk to my dad ignoring Joel, and hug him, my body is shaking, and
Jasper looks at me confused. His eyes tell me he isn’t stupid. I need to control my emotions more.
“Right princess, little D, is waiting, so go out.” My dad kisses my cheek and I walk to little D, speaking to him we leave and I take him to a few other spots around the city, we stop by the bar and sit down with a drink.
“You seem different Harley.” He looks at me and I shrug.
“Probably because I’m not used to this. I haven’t been home in years. I‘ m not used to having so many people around me, I lived alone.” I shrug and he laughs.
“It’s weird, I agree. I went from just me and my dad to well the club. For a few weeks I felt lost, I didn’t even know how to cope and would often just ride to escape the mass people.” He shrugs.
“How is your ex?” I need something to take my mind off the crap right
now
“Forgave me for some weird reason. I don’t think I would have forgiven as quickly as she did.”
“Maybe she forgave you because she’s expecting more?” Maybe she is, and is hoping forgiving him means she will get more?
“No, I told her that won’t happen. It will mean going back home and to be honest, I won’t be.” He shrugs and we sit and talk, but he keeps. asking about Jasper which is weird. I keep telling him I don’t know but he is looking at me like I’m stupid.
“I didn’t know Joel was your ex.” I look up shocked. “Sorry, we were talking and he told me that you two were together. He had a lot of stories.”

Fear
“Little D, don’t.” What the hell?
“What?” He looks at me confused. “He just told me you and he used to spend a lot of time at the club with your dad. He mentioned trying to learn to ride a bike and failing.” He laughs and I relax. I thought Joel had told him more, maybe I am too emotional and jump to conclusions. when I should just wait and see?
After an hour we begin to make our way back. I know Jasper wants me at my dad’s tonight, but I’m worried about Joel seeing us. Walking into the club my dad and Jasper aren’t here, I look around confused.

“Hey, your dad and Jasper went to another location. Jasper told your dad you mentioned possibly staying at home tonight, so he let your mum know.” I look at Diesel and nod. I guess I am staying. I leave and get on the bike to go to my parents.
