Chapter 102
Katy POV
It was in the middle of the night but King Soren and Queen Cassie came to meet Logan and Kylie. As soon as they entered my room, they bowed to Logan.
“It’s a great pleasure to have you with us, Alpha Logan,” King Soren said.
“But I can’t say the same,” Logan snapped. “What kind of security do you have when you can’t even protect the contestants of a competition that you are holding for the future Luna of your pack?”
King Soren side–glanced at his wife. Cassie had a stiff expression on her face and it was like she was hating this meeting. She gave me a once over and clenched her teeth as if telling me I deserved it.
“I am so sorry, Alpha Logan, about this incident, but this building is surrounded by the guards. No one can enter without permission,” King Soren explained. “The two girls who came to attack Katy were from this building. It appears that they utilized the fact that nobody was present.”
“I don’t care!” Logan shouted. “A competition like this will always have unhealthy participants. You should have security on every floor.”
“That’s right, King Soren,” Kylie said, crossing her arms across her chest. “I know Katy very well. Do you believe that only two she- wolves could bring her down?” Her gaze snapped to Queen Cassie and then to Luce. “Katy is a fine warrior, and she proved her skills in your first task, if I remember correctly! Yes, or no?”

“Diana won the first task,” Queen Cassie said through her clenched teeth.
Kylie looked at her. “That’s because Katy let her win! Don’t you give me that, Luna Cassie. You know it very well. What kind of a Luna are you, if you couldn’t see through it?”
“Don’t you challenge me, Luna Kylie!” Cassie growled. “You weren’t there to see it. Diana won it. Unfortunately, she was disqualified by my son.”
“No, I wasn’t, but I saw the live footage that Katy showed through her phone.”
And this time, Cassie’s mouth dropped to the floor. I knew she had realized that I let Diana win.
Kylie was on a roll. “Katy says that it was Rebecca who attacked her with five girls. You have to expel Rebecca from the competition. She is dangerous and not a Luna material!”
Rebecca cried, “No, Queen Cassie, I didn’t attack her. I was with Luce. You can ask her!”
“Yes, she was with me,” Luce replied vehemently. “It wasn’t Rebecca, Rebecca is very nice. She can’t kill a fly, let alone attack Katy!”
I stared at Luce in disbelief. I realized one thing–this argument about Rebecca would not lead anywhere. Once Luce was involved,
Rebecca was going to get a clean chit. And this may repeat.
“Can I ask something?” I said in a low, hoarse voice.
“Sure,” King Soren said.

Chapter 102
“You won’t ask anything!” Ace growled. “I know you won’t tell a lie!” He glared at Luce, who avoided him by taking a step behind her
mother.
“Let her speak, Ace,” King Soren said.
“After the building is closed for the night, it is surrounded by the guards, right?” I asked.
“Yes, it is.”
“None of the contestants can leave the building. Is that correct?” When King Soren nodded, I raised my question, “Then how did Rebecca leave the building to be with Luce?”
Silence followed as Rebecca’s mouth fell to the floor and Luce stared at me with confusion.
Kylie suppressed a chuckle. “Well, answer the question, Rebecca.”
Rebecca swallowed thickly. Before she could reply, Luce intervened. “I–I came to visit her. She didn’t come out.”
Nice try, Luce.
“So, do we have any video footage of who entered and exited the building?” I added.
Check and mate, Luce.
“There is,” King Soren replied, feeling extremely embarrassed. “I’ll get it checked.”
“What do you mean by that?” Cassie snapped. “Luce is my daughter and has an alpha bloodline. Her word counts in this pack. If she said that she came to meet Rebecca, then it is true. Don’t you demean her by checking the videos!”
King Soren didn’t know what to say because he was caught in an embarrassing family drama.
“And if you try to do anything, Soren,” Cassie added. “I will separate from you on the charges of infidelity. After all, Luna Kylie has made this easy for all of us!”
In disbelief, Kylie gazed at Cassie. “Wait, so you’re telling us you’ll use the law in your favor, even though there’s no evidence?”
“You–you know nothing!” Cassie retorted. “And I won’t hear anything now. I am leaving.” She turned to leave, holding Luce’s hand.
A growl ripped through the air, and she stopped, trembling in her place. In a flash of a second, Logan blocked her way. He snarled, “I want the names of the girls who attacked my sister in one hour. If I don’t get their names, my warriors, who have surrounded the Viking pack, will attack it and reduce it to ashes.”
Cassie blanched. “You can’t do this Alpha Logan. This is not justified!”
“And the attack on my sister is justified?”
“I will send their names,” she said through chattering teeth after a while.
Logan stepped aside. “Good. I’m waiting.”
King Soren also left after them. When I was left with Logan, Kylie and Ace, I said, “Thanks, brother.”
Logan came to me and cupped my ch*ek. “Why don’t you come back with us?”

Chapter 102
I looked at Ace, who appeared miserable. “I think I have to win my Alpha,” I replied and Ace’s tension reduced. He stared at me
intensely.
Logan shook his head and chuckled. “Mates!” he murmured.
My lips curled up when he wrapped an arm around Kylie’s shoulder and pulled her to his side. “So what’s next?” he asked.
“I don’t think Rebecca will agree. They will provide the names of all the others, except for Rebecca,” I pointed out.
“Good,” Kylie replied. “She is going to have less support now.”
As I had predicted, names of the three girls who accompanied Rebecca were revealed. They were thrown into the dungeons. They cried and screamed and said that Rebecca was the mastermind, but obviously Rebecca denied it. She had solid support from Luce
and Cassie.
I had to sit with Logan to stop him from attacking because I wanted to not just win my Alpha, but also the hearts of the pack members. If Logan attacked them, they would always hate me.
Logan and Kylie remained with me until I healed. Three days later, when they were leaving, Kylie said, “My spies are here and keeping
a watch on Rebecca. She wouldn’t dare to attack you now.”
I laughed and hugged her tightly. “Thanks Kylie! How’s my nephew or niece?”
“Now you bloody win the competition!” Kylie said, hugging me back. “And my pup is fine.”
I entered the next task the following day.
