79- Drunk and daring I shrug. I don’t really want to go home, I’m tired but having fun. “I don’t wanna leave. I wanna stay here.” I whine. Megan elbows me in the ribs. “Stay then, I bet Bellamy wouldn’t mind.” She waggles her eyebrows at me suggestively and we both devolve into giggles again. … Read More “Strings of Fate by Kit Bryan Chapter 79” »

Strings of Fate by Kit Bryan (Complete)
This book is authored by Kit Bryan. I’m an ordinary waiter, but I can see people’s fate, including Shifters. Like all children, I was tested for magic when I was only a few days old. Since my bloodline is unknown and my magic is unidentifiable, I was marked with a delicate swirling pattern around my upper right arm. I do have magic, just as the tests showed, but it has never lined up with any known Magic species. I can’t breathe fire like a dragon Shifter, or hex people who piss me off like Witches. I can’t make potions like an Alchemist or seduce people like a Succubus. Now I don’t mean to be unappreciative of the power I do have, it’s interesting and all, but it just really doesn’t pack much of a punch and most of the time it is just pretty much useless. My special magical skill is the ability to see threads of fate. Most of life is annoying enough for me, and what never occurred to me is that my mate is a rude, pompous nuisance. He’s an Alpha and my friend’s twin brother.

The shift drags on although there is a brief moment of amusement when a group of human girls stop and try to flirt with Aaron. I say try because they don’t really get very far. Talking to him really … Read More “Strings of Fate by Kit Bryan Chapter 78” »

75- Holding and hiding Bellamy starts towards his office door, carrying me with him. I wrap my arms around his n*ck to steady myself. “Bellamy! What are you doing? 74- Trip and tangle “Stay here.” he demands. I know if I insist he will let go, but he’s not usually so clingy, we were kind of having an emotional moment and I suspect he hasn’t finished processing that yet and isn’t ready to move on. Which makes sense because I don’t think I’ve processed … Read More “Strings of Fate by Kit Bryan Chapter 74” »
73- Presents and potions I run a hand through his hair in a way I hope is soothing and he sits up, dropping his own hands from his hair. “It’s really okay Bellamy. 71- Spells and strings I stare at the message for a good few minutes, alternating between being excited, proud and horrified that I sent it. Bellamy doesn’t answer right away like he usually does. At first I’m anxious about it, but I remind myself that it’s the middle of the night and he’s probably asleep. … Read More “Strings of Fate by Kit Bryan Chapter 71” »
70- Experience and events I glance at the time before setting my morning alarm and dropping my phone on the side table. It’s late enough that I could go to bed if I wanted to.
