My Billionaire Luna Novel
Chapter 1
The sounds of my own screams echoed through the walls as my father’s belt touched my raw flesh. Each strike made me feel his rage. I was on the floor, tears streaming down my face, crying and screaming in pain as he continued to punish me. My body trembled with each blow; the agony was almost unbearable.
“How dare you defy me!!” my father shouted, his voice filled with rage. “You will do as you’re told.”
I tried to shield myself with my arms, but it was useless. His anger knew no limits, and he was determined to bend me to his will. My pleas and sobs only seemed to fuel his wrath,
“Please, Father, stop!” I begged, my voice hoarse and broken. “There has to be another way! Please, father, don’t give me away, please.” I said, pleading with him to reconsider his decision
“There is no other way!” he roared, his face red with anger.
“I don’t want to marry him!” My pleas fell on deaf ears. My father’s face was twisted with rage, and his eyes were filled with an icy determination. “You will marry him,” he spat, his voice filled with venom. “You will marry Alpha Killian Volkov, and you will save this family
The room around me blurred through my tears. My stepmother stood in the doorway, her arms crossed, her expression stern but indifferent. She believed, as my father did, that this marriage was our only salvation. Our family was on the brink of financial ruin, and in a desperate attempt to save us, my father had struck a deal with the former Alpha King, Benjamin Volkov
The proposal was simple yet devastating: I was to marry his grandson, Killian Volkov, 28 years old, the current Alpha king. who runs a multi–billionaire empire. He’s not only 8 years older than me, but also the alpha king people feared the most.
People call him a black beast, a killing machine, or the devil. He has so many names, which I lost count of. Killian’s reputation as a ruthless, cold, and cruel businessman spread throughout the packs, causing fear and respect from many. The thought of becoming his wife filled me with an overwhelming sense of dread.
“That’s enough, Jasper; stop it.” My grandma rushed towards me shielding me from my father. “She’s your daughter.”
“Mother, please, step away.” He yelled in anger, but my grandma stood firm
“I won’t marry.” I managed to choke out, my voice barely above whisper. “I can’t
“I said, move, MOTHER! He yelled and pushed her aside. His face darkened at my words, and the belt came down again, sending a fresh wave of agony through my body. “You will do as you’re told,” he said, his voice icy. “Tomorrow, you will marry Killian Volkov, and that’s final.”
I curled into myself, trying to shield my body from the blows, but there was no escape from his wrath. The pain was excruciating, but the betrayal cut even deeper.
As I lay on the floor, my whole body in pain, memories of my rather nished through my mind. Everything was so different when she was alive. Our family was so happy. I was happy, and was my father. He was a completely different man when she was alive. He loved me and showered me with love and affection every single day. I wonder what changed. My mother passed away years ago. I don’t know what happened, but from that day on, my father completely changed.
What happened?
He shortly married Kathrine, my stepmother, and her daughter Eloise moved into our home. She quickly became the center of my father’s world. It was as if my existence had become secondary, overshadowed by the presence of this new family. Neglect and indifference replaced the love and attention once knew, leaving me feeling abandoned and alone
My stepmother and my stepsister had made it clear that I was no longer welcome in their perfect family. Their cruelty knew no bounds, their words and actions cutting deep into my wounded heart. They enslaved me and bullied me every day. They

made me a maid in my house. My father, once my protector, now turned a blind eye to their abuse; his indifference was a betrayal that stung more than their taunts. It was my grandmother who always stood up for me, but my stepmother always provoked my father against me and my grandmother.
What did I do? How could my father treat me like this?
I wiped away my tears. I can’t endure this any longer. I can’t stayin a home where I’m unwanted and unloved. I escaped into the forest, running as fast as I could. I need to escape this pack from all this hatred. As I kept running into the forest, the branches clawed at my skin, the ground uneven beneath my feet, but I pushed forward, driven by desperation and fear.
But then I heard it–the heavy thud of footsteps behind me, growing louder and closer with each passing moment. I dared a glance over my shoulder, only to see the looming figures of my father and his men, their faces etched with determination.
“Stop!” My father’s voice echoed through the trees, commanding and authoritative. “Come back here, now!”
I stumbled onto something, my breath catching in my throat, and my legs gave way beneath me. I fell to the ground, the impact jarring through my body, stealing the breath from my lungs.
Strong hands held me, pulling me roughly to my feet, and I found myself coming face–to–face with my father, his expression a mix of anger and disappointment. His men surrounded us; their presence created a wall of intimidation that I couldn’t hope to overcome.
Tears began to fill my eyes. “Dad, please,” I begged.
“Let me go!” I pleaded, tears streaming down my face. “Please, I can’t stay here anymore.” But my pleas fell on deaf ears. My father and his men dragged me back to the house, their grip unyielding. The forest faded away behind me, replaced once again by the suffocating walls of my prison.
He locked me in the room once again. The darkness closed in around me, suffocating me with its weight. I pounded on the door, my fists bruised and bloodied, my cries falling on deaf ears. They had won, once again asserting their control over me and stripping away what little hope I had left.

Standing in the hall of our house, dressed in a beautiful white wedding dress, I felt like a prisoner awaiting her fate. The dress, a symbol of purity and innocence, felt like a mockery of the life I was about to enter.
As I waited for the alpha, dread gnawed at my insides. The thought of becoming his wife filled me with bone–deep terror. Killian Volkoy was a man shrouded in darkness. What kind of life awaited me as his bride?
My gaze drifted to the forest beyond our home, the trees whispering secrets of freedom and escape. But I knew there was no turning back now. My fate had been sealed; my future was bound to a man I had never met.
The sound of footsteps broke through my thoughts, and I turned to see Damien, Killian’s beta, approaching. He wore a somber expression, his eyes betraying a hint of sympathy amidst the steely seriousness.
“Beta Damien,” my father said, his voice steady,
“Alpha Jasper West,” Damien said, giving a respectful nod to my father.
My father, the Alpha of our Shadow Pack, met Damien with a stern expression. His eyes flashed with anger as he realized that Killian himself had not come. This was supposed to be my wedding day, yet the groom was absent, replaced by his second–in–command.
“Where is Killian?” My father demanded while he tried to control his rage. “This is his marriage to my daughter. He should be here:
Damien’s expression remained neutral “Alphia Killian sends his apologies,” he responded. “He is currently dealing with urgent matters,” Damien replied smoothly. “He asked me to oversee the proceedings on his behalf,”

My father’s jaw tightened, but he held his tongue. Damien reached into his coat and pulled out a thick contract, the pages brimming with legal terms and binding rules. He handed it to rije, his gaze softening slightly as he addressed me
“Alpha Killian has asked that you sign this contract,” Damien said “Once signed, you must move to his estate immediately.
My heart sank as I took the contract, the weight of my fate pressing down on me. I glanced at my father, who stood beside me, his expression hard. His cold gaze crushed the tiny glimmer of hope that he would intervene and stop this forced marriage.
Despite his anger at Killian’s absence, he remained silent about his loyalty to our pack and his desperation to save our family, overriding any fatherly instinct to protect me.
I stared at the contract; my vision blurred because of the tears filling any eyes. Each clause seemed to tighten the noose around my neck, binding me to a man whose very name invoked fear. The fact that my father was selling me off to someone I didn’t know, someone who wasn’t my mate, was a pain too much to bear,
The weight of the moment pressed down on me, my chest tightening with every second I stood beside my father. Unable to hold myself together any longer, I jotted my signature at the bottom of the contract without reading all the terms. My hand trembled as I handed it back to Damien, my heart breaking into pieces.
“Thank you, Damien nodded and said softly. “We will leave immediately.”
My stepmother and stepsister watched with a mix of relief and excitement, their eyes betraying their own hopes for this marriage. My stepmother, who had often sided with her daughter in bullying me, now looked at me strangely, ber brown eyes filled with pity and calculation.
Eloise walked towards me with a sad expression on her face and hugged me. I was shocked by her sudden sadness and action. My body stilled. “I heard your husband is a barbaric beast who loves to torture and kill people,” she whispered in my ears while hugging me. “Good luck being his wife.”
Chills ran down my spine when I heard her words.
Will this marriage be the end of me?
My grandmother was standing beside the stairs, looking at me with tears filling her eyes. The sadness and pain were evident in her eyes. My father stepped forward, placing a heavy hand on my shoulder. His grip was firm, almost painful, but there was a hint of softness in his eyes. “Do your duty,” he whispered. Remember, you are saving our family.”
I nodded, swallowing the lump in my throat. With a deep breath I turned away, following Damien towards the waiting car. Awe drove away from the only home I had ever known since my childhood. I felt an utter sense of loss wash over me. I couldn’t control the tears that were streaming down my face throughout our ride.
