Chapter 39

“You need to learn to accept this. Silas,” alpha Sam said. The truth was brutal, but it was way better than a sweet lie and an empty hope, thinking that Cielle might come out of this alive.

But in truth, there was nothing Silas could do to help Cielle. Her life was slipping away and she was in critical condition right

“Silas..” alpha Sam approached him, but suddenly he turned around and grabbed a knife that he used to cut the fruit for her. “Silas! What are you going to do with that?!”

Silas could no longer listen to what he said, he used the knife to stab himself and draw the blood from his heart.

He should have tried this method long time ago.

“Silas, it will not work alpha Sam warned him, he tried to approach Silas again, but Archie, the beta stopped alpha Sam He shook his head.

“Let him be.” Archie knew there was nothing that could stop Silas from trying at this point, he wouldn’t be satisfied until he proved it wrong

With the bl**dy knife, he approached Cielle again, he licked the blood from his knife and then kissed Cielle. His blood entered her mouth, but it was not enough, Silas repeated the process over and over again, until he could see the result, or until he would bleed to death, no matter what he would find a way.

“Please, Cielle, please…” Silas gritted his teeth. He would do everything to get her back.

He didn’t know how many times he stabbed himself and made Cielle to drink his blood, but she didn’t wake up, she was still sleeping. She looked so peaceful when she was sleeping like this, but it frightened Silas, because there was a chance that she wouldn’t wake up again.

With the whole crazy thing that happened, Cielle should have woken up by now, but she didn’t. The only sign that she was still alive was the way she was breathing.

Her chest undulated sofily and her heartbeat was so weak

*Silas, Silas, stop this! Stop!” Finally Archie stepped in and stopped the lycan from killing himself. The wounds on his chest were severed enough, it might not heal for the next two weeks, which meant, he would be in vulnerable condition.

“Silas.” Kean approached him too.

“Kean, take the knife away,” Archie ordered him.

The **a immediately took the knife away from S**’s hand, this time, he didn’t fight back, he looked so pale, because het lost so much blood. He looked like he was dying at this point.

“Are you, okay?” Archie asked, but it sounded s**id, since Silas was everything, but okay. “Alpha Sam, please…”

Alpha Sam immediately approached them and he used the knife to cut off**’s shirt, so he could tend to his wounds,

In total, there were nine stabs in his chest.

“If you are not a shifter, you probably would have died by now,” alpha Sam stated.

Put, Silas didn’t listen. He could no longer feel the pain, the only thing that he was capable of feeling was his mate.

Chapter 39

She didn’t wake up.

“Why she doesn’t wake up!” Silas asked, his voice was so dark, as alpha Sam stitched his opened wound. “What happened

with her?”

Keyla looked like she wanted to cry when she cleaned Cielle up, because there were so many blood on her, even though that was not the luna’s blood, but the alpha’s, still it was a gruesome sight to see for her.

“You can leave, Keyla,” Kean said. “I will handle this.” He took the towel from her hand and continued to wash Cielle’s face.

S**s eyes zeroed to Cielle’s face.

There was one way to preserve Cielle’s life, but he didn’t want to do it, because he knew how wrong it was. This was completely wrong in so many levels.

“He is still inside the room?” Meda asked Reynald. “Can I see him.”

“It will be better not to see her. I am not sure what he is doing inside.” Reynald looked worried as well, but there was no voice from inside the room, no scream, no yell, which meant, it was good sign, right?

Early this morning. Kenan asked him to bring Ensley to his room and they had been inside for more than two hours.

He couldn’t hear their conversation from outside, but because there was no distress sound, it meant, Ensley was not being tortured, right?

“I hope everything is well for the two of them, Meda sighed.

Reynald could only frown. It sounded like Meda was still trying to make Kenan to be together with Ensley, especially after the rejection that she received when she met with Cielle.

Seeing her condition, Meda knew it would only devastate her son if he was with her, therefore, Ensley was the best option.

Not to mention Cielle had a ceremony with that lycan, which meant, she would never look back again and she would be **’s problem instead of Kenan.

Meanwhile, inside the room, Ensley was fiddling with her fingers, she was afraid. She had been locked up inside the dungeon for months, she had forgotten about how much she loved this man before her eyes, because right now, the only thing that she felt was fear.

Yes, she was scared of Kenan.

After she loved him for years, a few months tasted his cruelty was enough to erase that feeling. She wanted to flee from this room. His presence was very suffocating.

Tell me where did you get the poison?” Kenan had been asking the same question over and over again.

“I didn’t know, someone gave me the poison and the antidote. I don’t know, Kenan. I really didn’t know.” Ensley kept shaking

her head.

“Who gave you that?” Kenan pressed harder, but when Ensley refused to answer him, he slapped her across the face so hard, she yelped and fell to the floor. “Answer me, b**h.”
