Chapter 25
“How can you do this to me, mother?” Kenan watched his mother wailed in pain, as he backhanded her so hard to the point she fell to the ground.
Meda widened her eyes before the pain registered to her system. She couldn’t believe that her own son would hurt her like this.
She knew that she had done something so wrong, but Kenan had never hit her. No. He had never even raised his voice on
her.
He was such an obedient child and kind, but right now, not only he was going to kill Ensley for what she had done, but he was hurting his own mother because she helped Ensley with the scheme.
These two people were the very people that Kenan stood up for whenever he had to b**ad with Cielle. He would always take their side and disregarding what his mate said, but in the end, what he got?
He was betrayed and was tricked into believing something so cruel about his mate.
“How could you hit your own mother…?” Meda asked in disbelief, wailing in pain, so did Ensley.
Ensley watched everything and the moment she saw Kenan had gone unhinged, she knew that neither she nor Meda could reach him.
“Mother, how could you do that to me? She is my mate. My own destined mate…”
“Ensley is better for you…” Meda said between her s***bs, she justified her own action and was startled when Kenan knelt down in front of her, looked at her in the eyes.
“Do you think I am better right now?” Kenan made his mother to look at him in the eyes. “Do you think I am better now? Do

life is good now? Is this what you want for my life? you
Meda stared at the crazed pair of eyes of her son and started bawling, she apologized for what she had done, she wanted to make it up to him and said all the right thing, but then it was too little too late. There was no medicine for regret.
‘I don’t have my own mate and now I might lose my title as the alpha. Is this the life that you Kenan looked at his mother with emptiness and this made Meda’s heart ached so much.

Kenan didn’t say anything, he simply watched how his mother was groveling, but he couldn’t find it in him to comfort her, to give her consolation.
Instead, he wanted it to be hurt for them too. He wanted it to burn them with the regret that he felt. He couldn’t imagine what Cielle had gone through when he always sided with these two.
She must have felt very lonely and alone. She was literally alone, because he never took her side. He took her to his pack because he didn’t want her to be close to Silas, but here… he abandoned her, he hurt her so much.
Kenan still remembered the look on her eyes when she saw him inside that room for the first time. Those eyes, the deep disappointment that she felt for him would forever haunt him in his day and night.
Therefore, the wailing sound of his mother didn’t bother him anymore, neither the sight of Ensley, who looked so poor and
beaten up.
Kenan then stood up. He didn’t care about anything else. He wanted to sleep and meet Cielle in his dream…

Silas ran rampant when he realized that alpha Adrian and Luna Maia took Cielle away from the hotel. They changed their flights and then took her away.
Celine tried to appease him, so did the other warriors, but there was nothing they could do to make the alpha felt better.
In the end, they could only follow him to alpha Adrian’s pack.
However, they were not allowed for entrance to his pack. The warriors in the territory stopped them.
“You can’t come, alpha Silas, this is a direct order from alpha Adrian,” one of the warriors said. He looked a little bit scared to see the lycan, but this was his duty and he couldn’t back off from his duty.
“Back off, or I will kill all of you!” Silas growled viciously, he was ready to shift and kill them all.
However, Rollin stopped the alpha, he was one of the warriors, who came here. They had contacted the beta, but it was not sure how long it would take for Archie to reach this place.
Probably, if they had to wait the beta, this pack would be annihilated by Silas.
“Alpha, please, don’t do this. You will put yourself in trouble.” Rollin pleaded, he stood in front of the alpha in order to block him from attacking the border warriors.
“I am going to kill them all.” His voice was so dark and laced with murderous intention that he really wanted to fulfill. Yet, Rollin reminded him again that Cielle wouldn’t want that. “Cielle will be heartbroken if you did this again, alpha.”
And it seemed, hearing her name worked wonder on Silas, he held his anger in check and this time Rollin turned around to face the pale warriors.
They knew they wouldn’t stand a chance to fight the lycan, they heard what happened, since alpha Adrian’s pack and alpha Kenan’s pack were close to each other.
However, they couldn’t run from their responsibility too, especially when it was a direct order from their alpha.
“1 orm alpha Adrian that alpha Silas is here to see Cielle.” Rollin could only think of this method and wish Silas would be patient enough until they got the permission to enter the pack. “Go, now!”
One of the warriors immediately shifted into their beast and then rushed toward the pack house.
