Silas was surprised when he heard this, he pinned alpha Adrian with disapproving look, he was angry because he took Cielle to this meeting without his approval.
“I am still her father, if you forgot about that,” alpha Adrian answered the unspoken question from Silas.
Silas kept his rage in check. More so, Karrel gave him a warning look. He had won this, there was no need for him to be so aggravated for something trivial.
However, this was not something trivial. It was Cielle’s health that they compromised. They didn’t understand about that and Silas hated it when they tried to make thing so easy.
They didn’t know the severity of Cielle’s condition, aside from alpha, Sam, they only thought Cielle became weaker than shifter. That was all.
Alpha Sam put his hand on S**’s shoulder. Reminded him that he was there if something happened to Cielle, he could do something to help.
“Let her in and let us be done with this.” Karrel wanted everything to be done quickly, because he couldn’t stand this drama
anymore.
“I am going to get her,” Silas said, he stood up and went to the door to get Cielle, He didn’t know that she was here. His warriors should have told him, but then they were not allowed to receive any call during the meeting.
On the other hand, Kenan’s expression was unreadable and Daniel braced himself for the worse, because his alpha could have an outburst the moment he saw Cielle.

“What the f**k do you think you are doing?” Silas raged and this made Cielle flinched, which forced the lycan to curb his
anger.
“Don’t be angry with them, Silas Cielle stretched out her hand and Silas immediately knelt down in front of her, he asked how her condition and Celine immediately replied that she was stable. The healer took a step back because she was afraid of the alpha right now. “I am the one, who asked my father to bring me here.. don’t be angry with them.”
Cielle furrowed her brows and this sight made Silas calmed himself down. He didn’t want to stress her out, thus he apologized to Celine and the other warriors.
“I am sorry. I didn’t mean to yell at you.”
That was a very cold and curt apology, but because it came from Silas, it meant so much, since the alpha was not the type, who would apologize for something that he thought was not his fault.
Now they could see how Cielle meant so much for their alpha. Of course, they wouldn’t hang it over his head, as they knew S**s’s condition.
“I am here to make the rejection, Cielle said, she caressed his cheek and smile. “So, can be done with him and start anew.”
Silas looked at her eyes deeply and smiled. “You are right, you are right…” he nodded. “Let’s be done with this and then go home, okay?”

Cielle nodded and then Silas stood up to push her back to the meeting room, where everyone had been waiting for them.
This would be the first time Kenan saw Cielle again after that day, more so, it would be heartbreaking moment, because Cielle was going to reject the mate bond between them, severed the ties.

“As you can see. Cielle is not in the right condition,” Kenan said. “Rejection will only hurt the two of us. Do you think the pain will not take toll on her and it will worsen her condition?”
His reason rang true. He was right about that. Let alone the pain because of the severed mate bond, Cielle’s condition was extremely fragile to be in the harsh wind.
