There were seventeen alphas across the continent, including the supreme alpha, which meant, there were seventeen packs. All the alphas would attend in this trial, since it was a serious crime for attacking each other pack without a proper reason. The punishment for that would be dire, especially when you kidnapped the other alpha’s mate. The mate for the shifter was something absolute, someone that you shouldn’t touch, someone that you shouldn’t mess with.
Therefore, the law for mate was almost absolute, which was the highest law in the shifter world. In that case alone, Silas had broken two highest laws consecutively.
It would be a hard press for him to be able to get away from this
“I will be back for you and we will go back to the pack,” Silas said softly, as he kissed Cielle’s forehead. Cielle was not happy, because she wanted to be in the trial, but Silas didn’t allow her to do so.
“I can help you, Silas,” Cielle said.
“I will ask for your help when I need it, for now, you can take some rest.
And with that, Silas left with his stubbornness, he went with two warriors, leaving four behind to stay with Cielle and Celine. Cielle was very anxious, she couldn’t even fall asleep and even when she was sleepy, instead she tried to talk to Celine. She had seen the healer a few times, but they had not yet had any conversation due to her sleeping the entire time. “Your name is Celine, right?” Cielle asked with her small voice, she blinked her eyes to look at the healer closely. She was a beautiful woman, calm and collected, someone that would suit Silas better.
“Yes, I am.” Celine smiled, she came closer because she sensed that Cielle wanted to talk to her. “Is there something that you wanted?”
Cielle lowered her eyes. “Not really…” She bit her dry lip. Her body felt very weak and this was very uncomfortable, she felt this hollow in her heart, which even S**s’s love couldn’t close the void.
“Is there something that you wanted to ask me?” Celine tactfully changed the question and this made Cielle lifted her head to look at her. “You can ask me anything.”
“Actually, I want to apologize…”
“Apologize for what?”
“Because of me, you have to go through this… your pack will be in trouble because Silas is stubborn to not let me go.” Celline chuckled a bit when she heard that. “You are so famous in our pack, Cielle, do you even know that? People knew about you even before they met you.”
“How?” Now, Cielle’s sleepiness had disappeared, she paid close attention to what Gelline was going to say.
“People knew why Silas was being kicked out from Silver Creek pack and was no longer welcomed there.” Celline reassured her that none of the pack member, who saw her in the bad light
Three years ago, when Cielle learned that Kenan was her destined mate, she was supposed to leave the pack to go with the alpha Cielle could see the pain in S**’s eyes when he learned about that, but he smiled and said nothing, but wished her

Silas, knowing their history together, her father kicked Silas out of the pack, because Cielle’s pack and Kenan’s pack were very close.
Her father did that to create a distance between them, even though they didn’t communicate very often once Cielle followed Kenan to his pack, but even after everything, Kenan was still thinking that he couldn’t trust her.
The three years they were together was not like how Cielle imagined. Kenan wouldn’t trust her. She could feel it. He would put his mother and Ensley first, believed their words over hers and the last time when she went straight into their trap, Kenan completely turned into a monster, he was willing to hurt her to the point of close enough to kill her only to prove that she was wrong.
Now Cielle thought about it again, Kenan had never believed her. He never trusted her in the first place.
“Silas loves you. Cielle. Everyone in the pack knew about that. He accepted the Blo**dy Moon pack from the Supreme Alpha, because he wanted to be away from you, since he knew his presence will only bring you trouble, he worked day and night to get his mind off you, but he couldn’t.”
And the first thing that Silas did when he heard about what happened to her was to gather his warriors to march there and get her back
“People in the pack knew what happened to you and how you lost your wolf spirit. They condemned alpha Kenan for what he did and probably, the pack member will be very disappointed to alpha Silas, if he handed you over back to your abusive mate,” Celine said with gentleness. “There is nothing for you to be worried about. Alpha Silas will be back with victory and all of us will return to the pack peacefully.”

“Cielle, I don’t know you, we just met, but I know what is your favorite fruit, dishes and color, because the alpha would choose everything that you liked, he would eat the dishes that you liked and muttered to himself that you would love a certain food or a certain thing.”
Cielle didn’t know about that. Of course, she wouldn’t know about that if Celine didn’t say anything about it.
