Chapter 12
Silas tilted his head at his beta. “I will be doomed if I let that b**rd walked away without any consequences.”

Archie took a deep breathe, he knew there was only one way to make Silas saw sense. “If you died, who would look after her?
think she will be happy to know that she is the cause of your death? Be real here. You let your anger got the best of
you.
Archie knew Silas. He was his beta for a reason and he knew, Silas was not usually like this. He was a cold headed man, who could stay calm in any distressful situation.
However, Silas was being led by his emotions right now. Anything that related to Cielle would make the lycan lost his temper and it was not a good thing at all.
“Do you really thing he can kill me?” Silas looked offended.
Archie shook his head. “I have no doubt that you can kill him right away.” Kean had told him what happened and how the lycan had run rampant in Kenan’s pack. “My problem here is the fact that you could kill him. Right now, your action could be justified in front of the court, but if you killed alpha Kenan, no matter how you tried to justify your action, you are done.”
Silas understood that. “Don’t worry, we will only talk. Or maybe, he could send him back to visit the hospital again…
The next day, before Silas went to the capital city for the trial, he met with Kenan. They met in the neighboring pack, in a neutral ground, in the public area, so they would restraint themselves from doing anything st**id, since there would be a lot of people there and the existence of the shifters was still a secret for the human..
They met at a famous café, where it was crowded with people, bat Kenan had made a reservation on a table close to the window, at the quiet corner, to give them some sense of privacy.
Silas arrived twenty minutes late, since he didn’t feel the need to be on time on his call. He wouldn’t show an ounce of respect on this ba**rd, who had harmed Cielle.
When he arrived, Kenan was already there, he looked pi**ed, because he had to wait.
“You are late.”
“I know,”
With that short sentence, Kenan immediately understood that Silas did it on purpose. He wouldn’t bicker about that.
As a lycan, when he was in beast form, his figure would be towered over the other beasts, even though it was an alpha, but it was the same when he was in human form. He was a little bit taller than Kenan and his body was well built.
Women would check on him and gave a second look, every time they saw him. That was the charm of the lycan.
Silas ordered drink for him and took his time to read the menu, while the waitress didn’t seem to mind waiting for him, because she could use this moment to stare at him from closer look.
Finally, after five minutes, Silas decided what he wanted to drink and Kenan was almost losing his patient by this time. He lost his precious time for this st**d pettiness.
Yet, he couldn’t show his rage.
her way back
“Can we talk now?” Keñan asked once the waitress left, giggling on her way back to the counter.
“Yes. Silas leaned back and crossed his arms. His eyes stared deeply into his. Whatever he was thinking was unfathomable
for Kenan.

“Dying” Silas said. He watched Kenan’s face paled.
“Don’t joke around,” Kenan hissed. “Answer me seriously.”
“Do you really think I will joke around, about this thing?” Silas leaned his body over, his voice dripped with venom. “You didn’t know the extent of what you have done to her, did you?”
Kenan gritted his teeth. “Return her to me and I will drop the case.”
“Keep your case up, because that’s the only thing that you can keep for now.”
Their conversation stopped for a while when the waitress returned to bring S*** drink, she slipped her number on the tissue for him, but Silas kept his blank expression. He didn’t even glance at it.
Seeing that, Kenan scoffed. “Don’t act like a saint. I know that you have been keeping woman to warm your and then.”

“It’s that what you did? Did you try to put me on the same level as you?” Silas drank his drink. “I don’t have much time. What do you want to say? If that’s all you wanted to tell me, I will take my leave.”
“What do you want?” Kenan felt his blood was boiled with rage. The two of them were alphas, but he felt intimidated by this lycan. “Tell me what do you want for you to give me back my mate?”
“Even if you offered your pitiful life in a silver platter. I am not going to give her back to you. You don’t even deserve a strand of her hair,” Silas said viciously with a smirk on the corner of his lips.
It sounded very intentional, as he egged him to his limit.
“You will not win the court. The supreme alpha and all the people will condemn your action for taking away someone else’s
mate
“She is no longer your mate. I have told you that once you let go of her, you will never see her ever again.” Silas scoffed. “You are so pathetic. I am really sorry for Cielle to have you as her destined mate. The moon goddess must be drunk to make as her mate.”
Kenan lost it. He grabbed S** drink and smashed it against his head!
