put the gauze around his chest. The wound was still bleeding, but he didn’t even flinch when he put the ointment on the wound. His gauze soon turned red, but he only added more. In this rate, he would need to change his gauze every few hours.
After Silas cleaned himself, he went to Cielle’s bedroom. He stayed with her and would tend to all of her need.
For now, Cielle had been in and out consciousness. She would cry and mumble in her sleep, begging Kenan to stop torturing her, she would plead with that ba**rd to trust her that she wouldn’t have done something so im**e such as cheating on
your own mate.
It broke S**’s heart. This was even more painful than anything he ever felt. More than when he stabbed his own heart to get his blood in order to save her life,
“It’s okay, Cielle. It’s fine. You are here with me…” Silas nuzzled her cheek. He caressed her forehead and held her hand.
However, they couldn’t stay in this pack for long, Silas didn’t want to implicate alpha Milo’s pack. He knew that the first thing Kenan would do was to report his attack to the council of the alpha.
That ba**ard was going to get his Cielle back, but this time, Silas wouldn’t back down.
There was no way in hell, he was going to let Cielle back to him.
“I am sorry, I am so late.” Silas kissed her forehead. “I am sorry, I let you suffered for so long. I am sorry for not protecting you…”
The next day, Silas carried Cielle into his car and parted way with alpha Milo and luna Jasmine.
“Please, take this. This is the medicine from the healer and the ointment for her wounds.” Luna Jasmine handed a small pouch that filled with all the medicine that Cielle would need. “Our healer is still not sure why she has not healed at all and why her healing ability didn’t work, but two packs from here there is a hospital for a shifter. You can look for Doctor Sam. He is the alpha of the pack, Milo has called him and he agreed to check on Cielle.”
“Thank you, luna Jasmine.”
And with that Silas left. He cradled Cielle on the backseat and hugged her closely, his rage boiled in his blood, but he kept it under the calm expression.

“How is she?” Silas asked alpha Sam, after he ran a thorough check on Cielle. It was already late at night when they arrived, but Silas didn’t look tired, if anything, he looked even scarier. He was on alert and the aura around him was very strong. “Why her wound has not healed yet?”
Alpha Sam took a deep breath. He was an old and wise alpha in his early fifty, he didn’t answer *’s *question immediately, instead he told him to sit down, so he could explain in detail on what he had discovered.
“I think what the healer said is true. She lost her wolf spirit.” Alpha Sam didn’t beat around the bush and explained

everything in detail about how was a shifter when they lost their wolf spirit.
Wolf spirit was the core of a shifter and losing it almost like you lost all of your limbs. The effect of it could be vary.
“She could fall into a deep coma and will not wake up again, she could wake up, but lost her senses, she could wake up and lost all of her memories, or different thing entirely.”
Alpha Sam told Silas that the effect of this couldn’t be determined yet, until a few days of observation, thus he suggested for Silas to stay in the hospital.
“You will need a letter from me. If it’s what alpha Kenan had done to her, you can sue him in the council of the alphas in front of the supreme alpha. I am sure, Kenan is working on it too.”
Alpha Sam was right, the first thing that Kenan did was to write a letter of complain to the supreme alpha for what Silas had done in his pack. Silas should get a severed punishment from the council if he attacked someone else’s pack.
However, with the letter from alpha Sam, Silas would be able to counter that.
“Thank you for your help,” Silas said. “I would like to stay for a week here. So, I will know what happened to her.”
With that, Silas informed his ga***a to put more protection around the hospital. He also distributed more assignment for his beta and ga**a, since he would be away from the pack for a while.
“Can you wake up, please? I miss you…” Silas held Cielle’s hand, he sat down beside her bed for day and night and on the third day they were on this hospital, Cielle finally opened her eyes.
Silas was sleeping, he bent his body, while holding her hand, just in case she made a move, he would know right away. He purposefully not to make himself comfortable, because in this way, he would stay alerted.
Cielle whimpered softly when she felt the pain and this was enough to wake Silas up.
“Cielle? Are you, okay?” Silas immediately shot to his feet. “I am going to call a doctor. I will be right back.”
