Chapter 680
A realization dawned upon Natalie–she was repulsed by physical contact with Jeremy. Her love for him had been converted to utter disgust at his touch.
Natalie struggled out of his grasp with all her might, not caring whether her arm could’ve been dislocated. Then, she stood aside and dry heaved.
It shocked Jeremy, as well as Hank and Austin.
Jeremy was frozen in place. He turned as pale as a ghost.
Natalie vomited nothing. However, the nausea had been too strong to resist.
Once she recovered, the color drained from Natalie’s face upon seeing Jeremy’s paleness. A torrent of words lingered on her lips, but they dissipated shortly after. She had no idea how to explain.
Hank asked hurriedly, “How are you doing? Do you need to make a trip to the hospital?”
This wasn’t a regular occurrence.
“I–I’ll go home to rest,” Natalie said. She looked at Austin and Hank.
Austin nodded.
Hank agreed, “Go home and rest well. Tell me if you need anything.”
Natalie nodded and turned to Jeremy. She said, ‘I’m alright. Are you heading to the office? Or will you be coming home?”
Jeremy gazed deeply at Natalie. Then, he said, “I’ll be going to the office before going home.”

“Alright,” Natalie said. She couldn’t help but sigh in relief.
Once Natalie and Jeremy left, Hank revealed his thoughts, “That doesn’t mean that she’s pregnant, does it? Jeremy’s attitude leaves much to the imagination. Their dynamic is extremely weird. Did you see Jeremy’s face after Natalie began vomiting? He paled all of a sudden!”
People in the entertainment industry also needed to be highly observant in addition to being suave and tactful. Otherwise, all their efforts wouldn’t yield results.
Austin’s expression was terrifying Darkness hovered around him. · It wasn’t an act. Although Austin was extremely intimidating on set, Hank knew what was happening. Austin was genuinely livid.
Fuck! Could Austin not scare Hank to death?
“If she is pregnant, she might not be able to work in the future. As to you… why don’t you go overseas and shoot a few movies?” asked Hank.
It was just a bit of romance between them. It wouldn’t stand the test of time. In addition, there hadn’t been much of a relationship anyway. It wasn’t too late to back down, not to mention Natalie had no idea about Austin’s feelings for her.
Austin remained silent. He got into the car silently.
Hank did not say anything more.
-After Natalie returned home, she sat on the couch for a long time,
lost in thought.
In the end, she pulled her phone out and called Kate.
Kate picked up quickly and asked, “Nath, aren’t you on a business trip? How did you find the time to call me?”
“Mom, I’ve reflected on this extensively and made my decision. I cannot continue being together with Jeremy. I want a divorce,” Natalie announced somberly.
Her tone was devoid of hesitation.
As she walked off the plane, during the car ride home, and until she made this call, only one thought consumed her.
She couldn’t fool herself anymore.
