Chapter 184
“Do you know how much money ten times is?” the man asked Millie.

“No matter how much money it is, the Caldwell family can afford it.” Millie appeared noticeably serious and cautious.
The man in the passenger seat turned to look at Millie, his eyes locking onto hers. He said calmly. “We’re not interested in money, but we’re very interested in you.
“People are constantly chasing money in this world, but you’re interested in me instead?” Millie smiled.
There was no point in desiring someone. She longed to be with Winston, but what did she get in return?
The man in the passenger seat couldn’t help but steal a few more glances at her. “It’s rare to meet a wealthy girl like you who has such a clear understanding of life. Unfortunately, you’re going to die so
Millie was just about to say something else when he shoved the cloth into her mouth again.
“Go to sleep. When you wake up, you’ll be in a whole new world. We’re professionals and assure you that you won’t suffer,” the man in the passenger seat said with a yawn, signaling that he would sleep first.
The lackey beside her nodded and said with a reassuring smile, “Ms. Caldwell, have faith in our boss. We won’t let you suffer.”
Afterward, the van fell silent. Millie remained calm and didn’t dare to panic. She figured that this group of kidnappers must have been watching her for several days.
If she was right, Joanna should be the one who hired them. It took approximately three hours. to reach the beach. Despite the late hour, they still intended to throw her into the sea.
The only person who would want to do this was Joanna, as she knew that she had been. afraid of water ever since she saved Winston.
Millie’s hands, bound behind her back, twitched. The man beside her was vigilant and reprimanded her, “Stop moving!”
Millie lowered her head, waiting for an opportunity to send Marvin her location.
The van smoothly departed from the city. By 10:00 pm, there were fewer vehicles on the road outside the city.
Millie gazed out the window and could hear the snoring sound of people sleeping around her. Other than the driver and the man sitting next to her, the other three were sound asleep.
She flexed her wrists, noticing that the ropes were not bound tightly. She had mastered the

Meanwhile, the man seated beside her was dozing off, not realizing that Millie had managed to free herself.
She slowly took out two silver needles from her sleeves and pricked the man’s neck quietly. The man frowned. He touched his neck and looked at Millie, who was sleeping with her head down.
The man cursed, “Damn mosquito.”
He touched the spot where the needle had pricked him but felt nothing. In just three seconds, he fell asleep against the backrest.
Everyone in the black market knew that M had amazing medical skills and a special and deadly silver needle. If someone was pricked by this needle, it could be life–threatening. She was fast, accurate, and ruthless.
Millie opened her eyes and realized that the driver was unaware of the situation. With
precision, she skillfully pricked both sleeping kidnappers in the back seat. It caused them to gradually fall into deep sleep.
As Millie finished handling the two men, the leader in the passenger seat suddenly woke up. As he turned around and caught sight of Millie with her hands in the air, he immediately shouted, “You!”
Millie was about to prick his neck with the silver needle, but the driver suddenly accelerated, and they moved forward.
She swit
swiftly sat up and attempted to push open the door to jump out. The window rapidly slid down, and Millie had already half–jumped out.
The leader immediately jumped from the front seat and reached out to grab Millie’s arm. In response, Millie kicked him in the stomach and scolded him, “If you dare to offend me, prepared to face the consequences!”

“Ms. Caldwell, we’re just following instructions. Please don’t make things difficult for us. It wouldn’t be good if we ended up hurting you!” the leader kindly reminded.
“I might not be the one who gets hurt.” Millie smiled faintly with a mischievous glint in her
eyes.
