Chapter 233
I wake up with them still wrapped around me. My body is stiff from being unable to move, and soaked in sweat from being so squashed between three hot bodies. Both in the literal sense and the other. I try and wiggle out unable to. I groan and try to push one of them away but they just pull me closer.
“Okay, time out. I need to breathe please.” I hear Calix chuckling before kissing me and rolling away.
“Take your exit, and run quick.” He laughs and walks out, and I stare confused. As I go to move I feel D’s hands grasp my thighs, his head raising to look at me.
“Down boy! I need a shower, and by shower, I mean alone. You want to play, save it for later.” I tap his head and he laughs.
“I didn’t want to play little birdie, I wanted to eat.” His eyes go from mine down to my pussy, and laughing I push him away.
“D. let the woman get showered and eat, we have to sort things. Come on.” Mare pushes D giving me the slight bit of space I need to escape. Slipping from beneath him I rush to my room.
I want to spend today with them, as much of today as I can. I know tomorrow they will be on edge. So nothing will get done, so I just want today. Even if they are just working. Walking through I can hear them talking, I sit down at the table and Calix puts food on a plate before pushing it over to me. He doesn’t break out of his conversation the whole time or even take his eyes off his phone from whatever he is doing

“Need to be, then we can be sure she’s safe,” Calix explains
“Wait, no. If there’s an issue you need to sort it. You can’t avoid things. just because of me. If Troy and your guards are here I will stay in the same room with them then I’m safe. You can’t avoid work.” They
shouldn’t avoid it.
“Troy will be dealing with any issues outside of here from tonight. All our guards have been pulled in. We have some located around the office and other areas of the city that might be a target. We are making sure everything is covered, any issues Troy can sort it.” Cal looks at me briefly before looking back down.
“I have an idea.” The words escape and I can no longer take them back, but I do. I watch as all three turn and look at me.
“Which is?” Cal looks at me waiting, and I wasn’t expecting to ask. I thought he would have just said there’s nothing I can do.
“I leave…” I don’t even get to finish before D is standing up and growling at me, it’s cute really but also scary as fuck.
“If you don’t want us, just say, don’t use this as an excuse.” I roll my eyes at his words, yet I can see he is fueled by fear.
“I didn’t mean that D. I meant I go back to my parents and pretend I left. See what they say, if they think I walked away from you three if I lie and say you hurt me and I hate you, surely if they have a plan they will tell me?” It’s worth a try. I think.
“Are you a fool?” Calix looks at me now. “If they wanted us they would have us then. Whenever anyone has tried to take us down they failed.

You giving yourself over is you handing them the ammo they need. They wouldn’t tell you the plan, they would torture you and use you to get us to give everything up.” He shouts at me and I nod.
“It was just an idea.” My words are quiet.
“You two, stop. She was thinking of ways to help. Thank you for suggesting it cub, but things would go worse then. We would have no way of knowing you were safe, and no way to protect you.” Marc grips my chin and smiles at me. “There’s also too much risk they would sell you to Dean or worse Richard. Only there wouldn’t be the contract you would be sold illegally.”
I nod and give in listening to him, D stands still glaring at me.
“That reminds me, here.” I turn to Calix and see him holding out some papers, taking it I read through it feeling confused.

“I didn’t want this,” I said over and over I didn’t want me back my life.
“It’s the best way. This now proves you’re free. It means if they plan to torture us or torture you to get us to sign you over we can’t. It’s another way to cover everything, if you did get taken, and they were hurting you I would sign just to give you the freedom from being tortured. I would find a way to get you back but I would do it to save you. This way, I have no say.
Why do I feel like they have given up on me? Like they no longer want me, and that is why he has given me this? I stay quiet considering it while I eat. They continue to talk about how things will work
tomorrow, and Calix keeps glancing at me. An unusual expression on his face, one I can’t make out. It has me worried.
“What did you mean?” I remember now what he said to Dante. They all
look towards me. “When you said about outside the cities after dark?”
“More and more cities are becoming like this, ones where the police. have no control. Here if it’s small petty things they deal with it, but for the most, bigger things, we deal with it because they can’t kill a man for murdering his wife, we can.” I nod and listen. “It means outside each city is no man’s land. Those in cities like this often go out of the city and at night attack those they see, take their things and such. It also means those in cities still controlled by the police, will lurk outside cities, knowing that the location means police won’t get involved, so again they will target anyone and everyone.”
I look at him confused.
“Look, the police and everything are losing control of people, and cities. Imagine a city where the police have no control, and no one has enough power to run the city. Those people won’t stay within their city, they travel and look for victims.”
Now I understand, I remember one of the cities I lived in with Dean, there was so much police presence yet even if they arrested someone, the next day was just as bad. People from all around came and caused trouble in the city as well, and the police had no control.
“Then there is the fact there are still navy teams, and such out there. Some will never give up on the mission of taking back cities like ours. So they will happily wait outside the border to strike. Dante and his brothers and Emmi are like us, and the Navy would take a lot of pleasure in ending them to get back to the city. Hence most of our travelling is done during the day, mostly using the plane.”
“Okay, that’s fine.” I just wanted to know and now I do, I don’t speak after that. I just listen to Cal telling them where guards will be situated, exits and escape plans, safe houses, and backup plans for those safe
houses. I think he is going a bit too far, but what do I know?
I watch the morning disappear as they work and plan everything. I wanted to spend today with them, but even I can tell they are too focused on ensuring that I am safe and they have plans to keep me safe.
“Daisy.” I look up and see them dressed and ready to leave, did I miss something? I was so lost in my own mind that I didn’t even hear them moving. “We’re going to check a few safe houses, don’t leave. Troy will be here and other guards. Please stay in this room with them. Any orders Troy gives. you listen to. We need to ensure the safe houses are still safe, and unknown about before tomorrow.

“It’s fine Cal. I promise to stay here and not leave. If Troy tells me I need to be tied up and hidden in a cupboard I will do as he says.” I grin at him. seeing D turning to Troy.
“He will say no such thing.”
I laugh and roll my eyes.
“I know D. I was just pointing out that no matter what I will listen to him. Don’t worry, go get it sorted and I will still be here when you get back. Bored as hell like I have been all day, but here waiting for you.” I won’t do anything stupid.
Calix pulls me to him and kisses me.
“Don’t torture them please.” He looks at me like he knows I will do something crazy through boredom.
“Any other time and I would have considered it, but today no, I promise, I will be on my best behaviour.” He nods and walks to the door, waiting for Cal and D. Both of them hug and kiss me before walking out and leaving with me with Troy and live guys.
