more. Every word exchanged with Harry disgusted her. She got back into her damaged car and drove away.
“Son, she won’t do anything crazy, will she? Lury asked.
Harry said, “She won’t dare. Otherwise, she would have hit me with the car today! Ella, you just wait I get revenge for today’s humiliation!”
Harry looked down at his wet clothes, his face flushed with anger. He had lost his dignity as a man in front of her and vowed to regain i
Ella called her grandfather, saying she was working late and would sleep at the office, not coming home.
She then went straight to a bar, sitting alone in a comer. She drank in silence, glass after glass.

Ella had called her secretary to come later and drive her back to the office.
Several people approached her during the evening, trying to strike up a conversation, but Ella snapped at them all, driving them away. Eventually, she was barely conscious, surrounded by empty bottles, including strong whiskey
“Hey, beauty, are you alright? Why are you drinking alone? a man asked.
“Get lost.” Her speech was slurred.
“Come on, let me drink with you, the man said.
As the man tried to sit down, someone gripped his shoulder firmly.
“She’s with me. Back off, another man said.
The man turned angrily, ready to lash out, but froze at the sight of a terrifying face. He turned pale, unable to
to utter a word, and hurriedly left.
Jaden sat opposite Ella. The manager soon arrived, trembling at the sight of Jaden’s face but remembering his dury

If Ella met something unhappy in their bar, the manager would be done for.
“She’s not completely foolish Jaden commented, somewhat relieved.
He had been watching from a nearby booth, still angry. How could she recklessly get drunk without fear of predators? But now he saw she had a backup plan.
“Sir, please relocate,” the manager requested politely.
Jaden ignored Ella and was about to leave when Ella’s soft hand grabbed his sleeve.
Jaden… please don’t go,” Ella said.
Her few words startled him Jaden instinctively touched his face to ensure his mask was still on. How did she…
Ella struggled to lift her head, looking at him expectantly. When she saw his face, she froze for a few seconds.
Ella said. “Mr. White.”
She came back to her senses.
Just now, she felt dizzy and heard a
la familiar voice, so she thought it was Jaden.
She thought Jaden was back, and it was just her mistake.
“What a coincidence, Mr. White. You’re here to drink too. Sir, you don’t need to worry. Mr. White is a benefactor of mine. We’re going to drink together?” Ella uid.
“Ms. Willow, are you sure? The manager feared she was speaking
drunkennes
Ella said, “Yes, I’m sure. He’s a gentleman and won’t do anything inappropriate,” She parted her chest, reassuringly.
The manager’s eyes followed her hand, and then he blushed and turned away, meeting Jaden’s fierce gaze.
Jaden’s eyes were filled with murderous intent. The manager, terrified, fled immediately.
Ella clumsily poured Jaden a drink, half in the glass, half spilt.

Chapter 59
“Drink……. Tonight I’m drinking with you,” Ella said.
Jaden didn’t move, and he briefly glanced at her injured forehead, the dried blood adding a fragile beauty to her appearance.

She looked like a rose swaying in a storm, vulnerable and in need of protection.
“You’re injured. You shouldn’t drink,” he said calmly.
He didn’t drink, and Ella didn’t press him. She continued drinking alone until she started retching. Still, she tried to drink more.
Jaden couldn’t watch any longer and grabbed her hand, saying, “Stop drinking”
Ella stared at him and said. “Alright. I’ll listen to you. No more drinking. Let’s talk business instead, Mr. White. Name your price. What will it take for you to help me destroy Harry?”
“You hate him that much? Can’t you just part ways amicably! He’s the father of your child,” Jaden said.
“Huh?” She looked at Jaden in confusion.
How did he know about her “child“? That was just something she lied to her grandfather. She had never mentioned it to anyone else.
But her mind was too foggy to think clearly. None of it mattered now, She just wanted Harry to pay
Harry cared about the Rhys Group. He wanted to climb over the Willow family to get to the top.
Ella imagined his despair if the Rhys Group went bankrupt. That would be worse than death. She wanted to ruin him.
Ella said, “I want to destroy him. Mr. White, do you want to join forces! The Rhys family is a huge obstacle in the clothing industry, and it would be difficult for you to thrive. Together, we can crush them”
Jaden said. Thave no grudge against Harry, and I have many profitable projects. Losing one investment doesn’t bother me.”
Ella felt disappointed at his words. It seemed she would have to work harder to take down Harry. But then Jaden’s next words reignited her hope.
Jaden said. “Of course, if you offer the right price, I might consider it.”
“What price?” she asked, dazed
Her eyes, misty with confusion and glistening with tears, made her look bewitching.
“You“I need a wife, Jaden said.
“I can’t. I have a husband” Ella said seriously, resting her head on her hand.
Jaden said, “But he is dead.”
Ella said. “He’s not dead!” Before he could finish, he was rudely interrupted by
Ella.
Jaden continued, “He’s dead, thrown into the sea to feed the fish.”
“Shut up! He’s not dead“” Ella said.
Jaden said, “So what if he’s dead? You don’t care about him. You could replace him wit anyone…”
Ella picked up her drink and splashed in in his face. Jaden glared at her.
“Ella, how dare you! Have I indulged you so much that you’ve forgotten your place! Without me, the Willow Group would be finished! Who gave you the guts to defy me? He’s dead. So what if a fool is dead?
Ella slapped him.
Jaden licked his burning lips, eyes fixed on her, ready to explode, but then he saw her tears.
At that moment, all his anger
vanished
Jaden said, “Why are you crying?*
Ella said, “He’s not dead, Jaden isn’t dead. It’s my fault I didn’t protect him. All my fault… Do you think he hates me? Why doesn’t he come to me in my dreams! I miss him so much. I really miss him?
Ella could no longer hold back her emotions, tears streaming down her face. She squatted down, hugging herself rightly,
“You… Jaden was at a loss.
