Kate met his gaze calmly and boldly said, “I was just wondering if the previous me was blinded by foolishness to reject such a great husband like you and choose someone treacherous and heartless like Simon.”
Her words were blunt and caught Eric off guard.
He looked momentarily taken aback, a hint of bewilderment flickering in his eyes. But in the next instant, Kate had already thrown herself into his arms, murmuring softly, “Ric, I know you don’t trust me, but I’ve truly changed. I won’t bring up divorce again, and I won’t leave you.”
Her grip tightened gradually, as if afraid Eric might slip away. Her voice was gentle, with a touch of tears. “I won’t do anything to hurt you again… So please try to believe me, okay?”
She looked up and dropped all her guards, tears welling up as she gazed at Eric with a face full of

The man looked around twenty, dressed smartly in a suit. After apologising with a smile, he handed the captured photo to Kate. “Do you both like how it turned out?”
