Chapter 174 Daphne Is Nothing
Patricia ended the call and freshened herself before knocking on the door of the room beside hers.
It wasn’t locked, so she could enter with a slight push.
She walked in and saw William on the couch with a bottle of whiskey on the table.
Raising an eyebrow, she asked, “You asked me here to drink with you? I even put on some makeup and sprayed some perfume. Look at my  little dress! I thought you wanted
to have a romantic date.
William looked up and saw her messy hair and bare face. It didn’t even want to spire another glance at the thick jacket wrapping around her body.
Without saying a word, he took another sip of whiskey.
Patricia’s relationship with him was complicated.

She sat on another couch, crossing her legs. Propping her chin up with her hands, she looked at William.
“You’re in a bad mood. Why? Did Ms. Howen upset you? When I went down to eat, I saw you no chatting by the piano.”
William looked at her emotionlessly.
“It shouldn’t be her, then,” Patricia surmised. “Who is she to affect your emotions? Is it Ms. Bowen?”
William suddenly sneered and said, “Daphne is really just a nobody.”
Patricia gave him a confused look. She didn’t know what came over William for him to say that. Was he serious?
Given his previous behavior toward Daphine, Patricia thought his attitude was more a lacade of toughness.
It wasn’t a secret that Daphne had always claimed she was new to love, that William was her first boyfriend, and she had never been with another man.
But someone anonymously sent photos of Daphne kissing another man to William. It completely exposed her lie, and the lusion of a sweet and innocent girl crumbled instantly.
Willam was unable to accept the reality. He reacted by blocking her, not answering her calls, and leaving on a business trip.
His reaction was so intense. It actually highlighted how much Daphne mattered to him despite his attempts to seem indifferent.

Patricia poured herself a drink and said, “Still, if you’re really done with Ms. Bowen, Mr. Middleton Senior would be thrilled. Maybe you should take this opportunity to patch things up with Ms. Hoven.”
Wium’s reflection in the wine glass was devoid of emotion, his eyes distant and cold. They showed no trace of the conflict brewing within him.
Patricia knew that it was because Emelle wasn’t willing to do so.
She drummed her lingers on her cheek, a sly smile spreading across her lips as an idea formed.
“Let me give you a hand,” she said with a playful grin. “Consider it a thank you for all your help these past few days.”
With that, she picked up the room phone and dialed the front desk. “Hello, can you send a box of large condoms to room 1901? Yes, Mr. Middleton needs them. Please hurry.”
William frowned and was utterly puzzled. “What?”
Parrila winked at him: She put an index finger on her lips, signaling him to be quiet. “Shhh, you’ll find out tomorrow

The plan was to go out that day, and Emelie had already arranged to meet Patricia at a specific time. But when 15 minates had passed, and Patricia still hadn’t shown up, started to get concerned.
She tried calling Patricia, but the phone rang without anyone answering
Just as she began feeling perplexed, Alexis came downstairs and walled through the lobby. She noticed Emelie and walked over. “Are you waiting for Ms. May?”
Emelie nodded, and Alexis whispered, “She spent the night in Mr. Middleton’s room.”
Emelie raised an eyebrow, curious about how Alexis knew.
“You want to know how I found out?” Alexis leaned in closer and lowered her vulce. “Loverheard some hotel staff gossiping about it. They said room 1901 ordered room service three times last night!”
Emelie was speechless.
Alexis sighed with a smirk and sald, “Mr. Middleton sure lives up to his reputation.”
