Chapter 264 Changing The Bargaining Chip
Josiah finally took her to a mall.
He parked his car at the parking lot.
“Are we going to wait for Harry here?”
“Um,” Josiah said, “I had Lora arrange for him to meet here.”
Lysander slightly frowned. “Lora took the initiative to ask him out? Isn’t that too eager?”
Josiah tapped her fingers on the steering wheel. “Lora told me that Harry has noticed something. Last time, when he drugged her and took her to the hotel, I arranged for the hotel waiter to knock on the door at that time, saying that there was a problem with the identity registration, and he needed to go to the front desk to re-check in, which interrupted him. After he left, my people took the opportunity to take Lora out. The timing of the waiter’s arrival was indeed a bit coincidental, so I don’t blame him for suspecting.”
“So, are you planning… to give him another chance today?”
Josiah chuckled. “What are you thinking? This is a mall, not a hotel.”

Lysander shook her head. “I am a medical student, I only know how to treat diseases and save people. I can’t make heads and tails of you business people.”

Josiah suddenly pushed the car door open and got out of the car.
Following that, the car door on her side was also opened.
“What are you doing?”
“Let’s go inside.”
“Did Lora send a message?”
“Yes.”
Lysander got out of the car, followed Josiah into the mall, and took the elevator straight to the cinema on the top floor.
“A romance movie or a horror movie, which one do you want to watch?”
Lysander frowned, looking at him.
Josiah remained unmoved, took out his wallet, and said to the staff, “Two tickets for The Fright, last row. Seats by the side, please. Thank you.”
The staff member glanced at him, then at Lysander, understanding instantly. “Okay, your tickets are ready. Here you go. Sir, would you like any popcorn or coke? Our popcorn is sugar-free, so it won’t make a lady gain weight.”

Josiah cocked his head to one side and asked, “Do you want it?”
Before Lysander could speak, Josiah said to the staff, “One large popcorn and two cokes. Thank you”
“Sure, please wait a moment.”
The waiter took the money and cheerfully went to prepare the order.
Lysander lowered her voice, coldly saying. “This is pretty interesting, huh?”
“What?”
Lysander turned around and left.
This time, Josiah did not grab her wrist. Instead, his arm directly hooked around her waist and pulled her back, embracing her into his arms.
Lysander couldn’t hold it back any longer. “Josiah, are you out of your mind?”
“Shh,” he whispered in her ear. “Harry is watching us.”
Lysander stepped angrily on his foot. “Still trying to deceive me?”
Josiah winced in pain, gasping, but the arm wrapped around her waist tightened even more. “I didn’t lie to you, look at your two o’clock direction.
Lysander turned around to look, and her pupils instantly shrank.
Who was the person sitting in the waiting area, if not Harry?
“Stop looking,” said Josiah. “Don’t let him realize we’ve seen him.”
Lysander’s body stiffened. “What is Harry doing?”
“Zachary might have warned him, and he discovered the person I sent to keep an eye on him.”
Lysander suddenly became anxious. “What do we do now? Have all our efforts been in vain?”
“Exchange.”
“How to exchange? Who to exchange with? Harry?”
Josiah laughed coldly. “No, Zachary.”
Lysander didn’t understand. “What do you mean?”
“Zachary should also understand now that you’ve discovered his purpose, exploiting you to gain benefits from me, this path has already failed, so he has changed and given me a new bargaining chip.”
Lysander was taken aback for a moment, then suddenly realized. “The bargaining chip is… Harry?”
“Yes,” Josiah said, “For one’s own interests, sacrificing one’s own friend. Heartless and ruthless, yet

from a better background, he might really become someone.”
