Katrina’s POV

His words sent shivers down my spine, making my heart race at what seemed to be a million miles per hour.

I stood there, feeling the heat rising in my chest as Silas grip tightened around me.

I was tempted to melt into his hold, to ignore everything and just let go, but I didn’t.

Glaring furiously at him. I pulled my arm out of his hands, turning around to storm off.

“Where are you going?” He growled, his hand shooting out to grab my arm.
