“At least she is treating you better than the way she is treating you, right?” Antonio replied in the
same tone.
“So what? Do you think that you are worth her? Did you know her identity before dreaming of being
with her?” Gregory asked.
“Sir…” The assistant wanted to say something but Antonio raised his hand stopping him from saying
anything.
“Who she is and whether I am worthy of being with her doesn’t concern you at all. That’s our issue
and outsiders like you shouldn’t be involved,” Antonio answered coldly as he looked at Gregory.
They looked at each other coldly as the private room temperature decreased making Amanda shiver in
cold.
“My dear friend, if I were you, I would just shut up and stop attacking me in front of her as that
will only make her attitude towards you cold. You are just proving that she did the right thing by
calling off the engagement and that you are really unreasonable,” Antonio whispered to Gregory as he
didn’t want the man to ruin Amanda’s mood.
He had only seen the change in her eyes and face when she listened to Gregory.
Gregory clenched his right hand into a fist as he looked at the man coldly before looking at Amanda
gently and he had to agree that what the man had said made sense.

Gregory was left in the room alone as he looked at the departing figures with cold eyes.
He wondered where the man had come from as he had investigated Amanda and knew there wasn’t any other man on her side apart from her brothers and assistant James.
He wished that he could beat the man or use other methods to get rid of him but he knew that that would only make Amanda hate him even more. Or even worse, hate him more than he hated Damien.
“How did you get my number?” Antonio asked Amanda as they walked into the private room that he
booed.
“My second brother helped me,” Amanda replied as she felt that there was nothing to hide.
Antonio remained silent as he remained that the son of the Andersons was a computer expert but he
never thought that he was that good.
Now he understood why no hacker expert was able to evade the Andersons firewall. At the same time, he wondered whether Anderson’s financial level was really as they showed or whether they were also
hiding their true power.
After some minutes, he stopped thinking about it and looked at Amanda curiously wondering whether she
was aware of his identity.
“Did he tell you anything else about me?” he asked as he eyed her.
“Naah. He wanted to but I was so tired and sleepy at that time. Also, I wanted your contact number not to know about your life,” Amanda answered and Antonio didn’t know whether to laugh or cry as t
felt that she was so ignorant.

“What do you want to eat?” he asked.

This made her think about her life with the Scotts and she felt sad.
“What are you thinking about?” Antonio asked when he saw the sad look.
Amanda shook her head and stopped thinking of those sad memories.
“Let’s order,” he said when he saw that he didn’t want to tell him.
“Since you insist on making me order even when I am not hungry, I will order something expensive to see how you will be able to pay as you are pretending to have money when you don’t have,” Amanda sai angrily making Antonio smile but didn’t say anything as he didn’t mind.
Amanda nodded with ice cream, desserts, and chicken nuggets making Antonio look at her but didn’t say anything as he knew she was just ordering to annoy him.
“Kindly pack the desserts and chicken nuggets. Bring the ice cream for her to eat at the moment,” he
told the waiter.
“What are you trying to do?” Amanda asked with a frown.
“You said that you aren’t hungry thus you can order some take away and you will eat when you arrive home or when you are hungry,” he said making Amanda speechless.
‘I am sure that the food here isn’t as delicious as my auntie’s thus there is no need to order takeaway, she said inwardly as she knew it would be bad to say such a thing in front of the
restaurant’s worker.
“Okay,” she said.
She later ate the ice cream as Antonio ate his food but he would look at her often and smiles would
appear on his face when he saw how she was eating.
When they had finished, they walked out of the room with a shocked Amanda as she couldn’t believe
that the latter had paid the bill.
