The Charming Ex-Wife
Chapter 84 Because She Is My Wife
“Are you referring to her appearance in high school?” Aiden asked.
Josiah explained, “No, it’s actually from when she was a child. She was shy but extremely kind when she was around seven or eight. The first time I went back to my old house with my parents, I got separated from my nanny, and she was the one who helped me find my way out of the woods and back home.”
Upon listening, Aiden was surprised and exclaimed, “So, you and Lysanne had a deep connection from a young age!”
Josiah nodded and affirmed, “Yes, we did. I even made a promise back then to always treat her well.”
“You’ve kept your promise.” Aiden replied.
“However…” Josiah paused, not finishing his sentence.
Aiden asked. “What is it?”
Josiah shook his head and replied, “It’s nothing”
He kept these thoughts to himself. Recently, I’ve realized that being friends and lovers is an entirely different experience. The overwhelming and suffocating feeling I now experience with Lysanne as a romantic partner contrasts with the joy of being just friends.
I used to look forward to picking up Lysander from the hospital. Despite her introverted demeanor, she breaks free from the initial reservations once you truly know her. Her storytelling skills are impressive, and she has a great sense of humor.
When it comes to her work, she seamlessly transitions into a capable doctor. Her words exude a thoughtful consideration for others feelings, casting a comforting aura-perhaps a skill honed through constant interaction with emotionally unstable pregnant women.
I haven’t exactly had a parade of women in my life. Compared to the two significant women in my life, Lysander stands in a league of her own regarding kindness and responsibility. Meanwhile, Lysanne appears to have changed. Something about her feels different now.
Suddenly, Aiden stood up anxiously and urged Josiah “You haven’t answered yet. Will you help me?”
He continued, “I’m telling you, this girl has sparked a fire in me. All the previous women were too complacent, and it got boring. Now, I’ve stumbled upon someone who challenges me. I absolutely can’t let go!”
Josiah rolled his eyes at him and advised, “Don’t go messing with her if you don’t like her. Trust me, I’ve been there hurting a good girl’s heart isn’t worth it.”
Aiden clarified, “Who said I don’t like her? I do! Josial, you haven’t seen her in person yet. Once you. see her, you’ll understand what having an angelic face and a devilish figure means. She has a gentle and dignified face like a lady, but her body is sizzling hotl
Josiah couldn’t help but mock him, “Are you really that shallow?”

Chapter 84 Because She Is My Wife
Aiden clarified, “Of course not! I likely wouldn’t have picked up if she had called me today. Nevertheless, she dared to play me and even crafted this clever trick of sending a message in Whisper. Hmm, that’s interesting.”
Josiah asked, “Are you being serious?”
Aiden retrieved his phone and responded, “Let me show you a photo.” He then selected a photo and commented, “Josiah, look at this figure. Hmm… Hey, what are you doing? Why are you grabbing my phone?”
Josiah’s expression changed instantly, and he asked, “Is she the girl you’re talking about?”
“Yeah, why? Do you know her?” Aiden asked Josiah.
Josiah swiftly unlocked his phone and shared it with Aiden. As Aiden read the message, surprise flickered across his face.
Aiden asked, “Did Zane send this to you? Is this from Daphne’s social media? Is she one of Daphne’s friends? Hmm… Well, that makes things easier. I’ll find Daphne; she should have this girl’s contact information.”
“Wait, you can’t go.” Josiah stated.
Aiden suddenly understood, “Why not?”
Why not? Josiah sneered and declared, “She’s my wife
