Chapter 80 Do Not Hurt Her
“Move the items on the balcony to my car,” Josiah instructed.
Aiden rolled up his sleeves and replied, “Sure. Leave the heavy lifting to me. I have plenty of physical strength!”
“Also…” Josiah added. “Take the sound system with you. Don’t leave it at home.”
Aiden hesitated while glancing at Josiah and then at Lysanne.
Ultimately, he decided to heed Josiah’s advice and suggested, “Lysanne, Josiah is right. We shouldn’t only consider ourselves and disregard our other neighbors. How about this? You let Josiah buy you a villa and I’ll personally deliver the sound system to your new place. You can play it as loudly as you wish.”
Lysanne seemed reluctant while still striking a pose to impress others.
Josiah grew impatient. “Aiden, let’s go. I need to get to work.”
“Okay. I’m coming.”
Aiden quickly brought the cardboard box from the balcony and took it out. “Josiah, I’ll head downstairs first. I’ll wait for you there.”
“All right.”
Josiah acknowledged, then turned to look at Lysanne with a warning gaze. “Since you’re pregnant, take good care of yourself. I’m worried about you harming the baby. I’ve already taken responsibility for the mess your cousin caused. If things go too far, I’ll make sure he ends up behind bars.”
Lysanne’s stance softened slightly at the mention of her cousin. “Josiah, Leo didn’t mean it-”
He interrupted her straight. “I’m off to work.”
When he descended the stairs, Aiden had already placed the cardboard box next to his car.
He unlocked the car and placed the box in the trunk.
Aiden asked cautiously, “Josiah, this box is filled with women’s clothing.”
Josiah gave him a cold look. “Is there a problem?”
Aiden flinched in fear. “N-no.”
“From now on, if Lysanne asks you to do something, inform me first.”
“Understood, Josiah.”
Josiah got into the car but didn’t start the engine immediately. He tapped his fingers on the steering and called out, “Aiden.”

Chapter 80 Do Not Hurt Her
“What’s the matter, Josiah?”
“Don’t involve yourself in my divorce.”
“Why? That woman is just after your money. She’s dragging it out to get more, right? Don’t worry. I’ll take care of it for you.”
Josiah suddenly gave him a piercing look. “What do you intend to do?”
Aiden jumped. “Josiah, don’t startle me like that.”
“I’m asking you how do you plan to handle it?”
“Threats or bribes. It’s either one.”
“No!” Josiah exclaimed. “She hasn’t done anything wrong in this situation. It’s me and Lysanne who have wronged her.”
Aiden expressed disbelief. “Zane said the same thing, but Josiah, don’t underestimate people. Lasked Zane and he told me that the woman comes from a modest background. Being a doctor may be lucrative, but becoming wealthy overnight is unlikely. She probably wants to capitalize on this opportunity to ask for more money.”
“I actually wish she would come and ask me for money…”
“What are you implying, Josiah?”
“It’s nothing. Just remember what I said. Don’t harm her.”
“Okay. I understand.”
Josiah closed the car door, started the engine, and drove off.
Aiden stood there while gazing at the unopened sound system beside him. Then, a sudden idea form in his mind.
If he couldn’t harm her, he would find another solution then!
He would offer her a ‘romantic encounter,’ make her eager to divorce, and escape with her newfound lover. Wouldn’t that resolve everything?
Aiden thought that the plan was foolproof!
As for the choice of the ‘romantic encounter’ partner…
He glanced at himself in the car’s rearview mirror, adjusted his hair, and grinned.
What a handsome young man. As the saying goes, if I do not do it, who will?
