Chapter 61 Are You Coming With Me or Not?
Josiah sensed something was amiss just by listening.
He gazed at Lysanne. “Didn’t you mention your stomach hurts? Let’s go. I’ll take you to the hospital,”
“Josiah!” Lysanne exclaimed while rising to her feet. “Did you hear that? They promised to arrange a private room for us immediately, and we could even dine for free today.”
Josiah smirked. “Is your stomach no longer in pain?”
“It was hurting carlier, but it’s much better now,”
“What did you say to the waiters?”
“Nothing much. Just some common sense. If something were to happen to me in their restaurant. today, the establishment would suffer. This popular restaurant attracts numerous customers daily. If it were to close down, the losses would be significant.”
Josiah observed her as she enthusiastically discussed the “perks” she had secured, making him feel distant from her.

“Let’s go, Josiah. Let’s go eat.” Lysanne suggested before attempting to link her arm with his, but he evaded her touch and replied, “You go ahead. I’ve lost my appetite.”

“What’s the matter?” She pouted. “Are you thinking of visiting Dr. Thorne at the hospital? I knew it. You still can’t let go of her. Even though I formatted your phone, your heart remains with her.”
Josiah chuckled. “You dragged her onto the street. Shouldn’t I check on her at the hospital?”
“But she already has a bodyguard. Didn’t you see earlier?”
“There’s no correlation between the two. If you make a mistake, you must take responsibility.”
Lysanne’s expression turned cold. “I merely scared her a bit, hoping she would divorce you sooner. Do you need to be so frightened? I’m pregnant and fine, so how could anything happen to her, a healthy individual?”
A nearby girl in line whispered, “If she hadn’t rushed to shield you, would you still be sitting here: calmly?”
Lysanne immediately retorted, “Which eye of yours witnessed her shielding me? We both rushed out together. I’m pregnant and slower, so I fell behind. How could she have shielded me? Watch your words. You could face legal consequences!”
The girl couldn’t help but interject, “I’ll face the consequences! You pulled her along, then stopped midway, leaving her in the middle of the road! She could have easily crossed to the other side. She had enough time, but she stayed to protect you and got hit in the end!”
Then, she pointed to the camera above and said, “There’s a surveillance camera here. Check the footage and see if I’m lying.”

Josiah’s expression was one of surprise. “She… got hit?
see
“Yes. The girl nodded. “She rolled on the ground several times before coming to a stop. Didn’t you it when you rushed over? She couldn’t get up for a while. Sir, it’s not your fault for being handsome, but can’t your wife stop suspecting everything? Although you are quite attractive, not all women want to seduce you, right? Moreover, even if they do have feelings for you, she can’t push them onto the road. What if someone dies? Who will be held accountable?”
Lysanne suddenly stood up. “Is my suspicion unfounded? These two women, one took photos of my husband secretly and the other followed my husband to the restaurant in hopes of a chance encounter. Shouldn’t they be taught a lesson? They knew he was married and still pursued inappropriate actions. These women need to be intimidated to experience fear, so they will back off.”
“Following your husband to the restaurant?” The girl chuckled, “Madam, this is a popular restaurant. It’s been bustling lately. Isn’t it normal to visit? Besides, did the lady even speak to your husband? She probably regrets coming here today. Who would have expected to encounter you two lunatics…”
“Who are you calling lunatic?!”
Josiah’s tone grew icy. “Lysanne, let’s go home.”
“I’m not going back! If you want to go, go alone.
“I’ll ask you one final time. Are you coming with me or not?”

The Charming Ex-Wife
Chapter 62 If You Don’t Come Back, I’ll Kill Her
“I didn’t do anything wrong in this matter. Lysander is just too stubborn. I talked to her nicely at the hospital last time. I even sent her mushroom soup. She should have understood what I meant, right? But what happened? It’s been a month and she still refuses to divorce. Today, she came here to see you again. Hmph! Don’t think I don’t know what she’s thinking. I’ve seen many women like her before! I just want to teach her a little lesson and let her know that I’m not easy to bully.”
“Fine.” Josiah turned around and walked away. “You can continue eating. I’m leaving.”
“Josiah, stop right there!”
He stopped in his tracks, but only for a moment, then immediately started walking toward the parking lot.
“Josiah! If you take one more step forward, I’ll run into the street and get hit by a car. regret it for the rest of your life!”
Josiah was speechless.
Don’t think I won’t do it. Let me go!”
I’ll make you
The drama that had just ended was about to start again because of Lysanne’s loud argument.
Someone nearby advised, “Buddy, appease your wife quickly. It’s normal for women to be emotionally unstable when pregnant.”
“Yeah. She’s carrying your baby. This situation is partly your fault. Otherwise, why would she feel so insecure and always think you’ll be taken away by someone else?”
“Yes. Yes. Have you been too close to other girls normally, causing her to be anxious every day? Those friends of the opposite sex and confidantes should be cut off. Isn’t it better to be with your wife and children at home?”
“And those b*tches, pretending to be friends with men and getting close to them while saying nice things like ‘we’re just friends and we’re just buddies, but who knows what evil they’re hiding in their
hearts.”
“Ah! This is the worst! I’d rather you say you like him too, so we can compete fairly instead of badmouthing his wife under the guise of friendship, claiming it’s for his own good. These women are simply despicable. No wonder your wife overreacted. Probably because she encountered this high-level b*tch.”
People were all talking at once.
Lysanne cried out in grievance behind him while accusing him of changing, of not cherishing what he had, and of betraying their over twenty years of relationship.
Josiah had a stomach full of words, but could only let out a helpless sigh.
Who is the real high-level b*tch?
