Chapter 277 Should Love Start From Childhood
Zane was completely dumbfounded. “This matter has nothing to do with me….”“”
“How can it not? Haven’t you seen how much Josiah has cared for Lysanne over the years?”
“I did, but-
“What do you mean but? You, Aiden, and…” Yvonne’s finger pointed at them one by one before. stopping at Adrian’s face abruptly.
Adrian slightly furrowed his brows, his expression annoyed. Lips tightly pressed together, he looked down at her.
Yvonne’s face suddenly turned red as she withdrew her finger begrudgingly. “Aiden!”
“Yes, yes, I’m here, milady. Go ahead and speak.”
“Who is this, aren’t you going to introduce him?”

Aiden couldn’t wait for her to change the subject, so he quickly introduced them eagerly. “Oh right, look at how forgetful I am. Let me introduce you, this is my elder brother, Adrian. He grew up abroad. and has only recently returned to the country.”

Yvonne slightly lowered her head, sneaking a glance at Adrian. Her voice suddenly became soft. “So, he’s the elder brother you’ve mentioned before.”
“Exactly. He’s someone extraordinary. He has carved out a niche for himself in the medical field. Now, he is a well-known anesthesiologist both locally and internationally.”
“Oh, a doctor.” Yvonne nodded. “That’s indeed very impressive.”
Aiden laughed out loud. “Adrian, this is Yvie, from the Elmore family.”
Adrian frowned slightly. “The Elmore family?”
*Exactly. The Elmore family of North Harborbrook.” Aiden explained to Yvonne, “Yvie, my brother is not in business, so he doesn’t know much about the situation in Harborbrook.”
Yvonne’s eyes glistened as she hummed in acknowledgment. “It’s understandable Having not returned to the country for so many years, it’s natural that he doesn’t know.”
Aiden stroked his chin, sensing something was off. He reminded her, “My brother, like Josiah, also has a first crush in his heart.”
Yvonne’s face changed. “Who is it?”
Aiden glanced at Lysander and quickly withdrew his gaze. “You don’t know her.”
“Is she in Harborbrook?”
“Um. about that…”
1/2
Adrian nodded slightly. “She is.”
Yvonne’s face fell as she twiddled her fingers. “What’s happening to the world now? Why do all good. men have their hearts set on their first crush? Lysanne picked the best one, and that woman has also.. chosen an extraordinary man for herself. Do all romances need to start from childhood?”
Aiden said, “I don’t have a first crush.”
Yvonne glanced at him. “You? How can you compare yourself to Josiah and your elder brother?”
“I guess I can’t.”
Yvonne rolls her eyes. “At least yout
some self-awareness.”
“Hey, everyone.” Daphne crossed her arms and watched for a moment, a slight smile on her face. “Aren’t we supposed to be choosing from two people? Why have the choices gone off track?”
Aiden immediately turned pale. “Can you stop bringing up that topic again? Just as I have painstakingly changed it…”
“I must bring this up.” Daphne was consumed by anger. She pulled out a chair with a clatter and stepped on it with one foot. “Aiden, Zane, I also want to hear your answers. Up until now, I still consider you two as friends. If you two also can’t distinguish between right and wrong, then from now on, we each will go our separate ways. We shouldn’t force ourselves to get along if our values are too different.”
Being an amiable person, Zane smilingly made peace with both sides. “Daph, Aiden is right. This is Josiah’s problem. The two of us buddies shouldn’t meddle for no reason.”
“How can this be meddling? All of you will have to show respect to Josiah’s wife in the future, right? So go ahead and choose who you support.”
Zane’s smile froze as he nudged Aiden with his elbow
Aiden was also at a loss, hanging his head and chuckling. “No matter who I choose, I will have to show Josiah’s wife respect.”
