Chapter 252 Saving My Past Self
Lysander said. “I heard from Miles that everyone addressed you
school.”
with respect when you were in high
Josiah fell silent, only his slightly deepened breathing could be heard.
“Actually, the you today, is the real you, right? Your gentleness, chivalry, and attentiveness are because those are what Lysanne likes in a man. That’s why you forced yourself to be what she likes. After marrying me, because you regard me as her substitute, you also subconsciously show that side to me…”
“That’s not it,” Josiah denied anxiously. “I—”
“It’s all right, Josiah. We’ve agreed that I won’t block you because I want to know Harry’s and Lora’s progress. I appreciate your help in this matter, but once it’s over, I still hope we can go our separate ways and not have any other interactions.”
Josiah was silent.

“I’m very tired, so I’ll go rest now.”

With that, Lysander hung up the phone.
Daphne had a look of disapproval. “How can he still have the nerve to call you? Is his little sweetheart not sweet anymore?”
Lysander didn’t want to complicate things, so she got straight to the point. “Josiah told me that Harry took Lora to a hotel.”
Daphne immediately understood. “Is he trying to get Lora pregnant now, and then force he him? Goodness, could his motive be any more obvious?”
Lysander replied, “Relatively speaking, you’re still quite lucky. At least he only intended to hu heart, not your body.”
“So what? Should I be grateful to him? Harry, that scm, never thought about putting in effort an always wanted to take shortcuts! Those toy boys who take shortcuts can at least make older wome happy. On the other hand, Harry’s targets are always young, beautiful, and naive women. He want both their bodies and money! It’s so disgusting! Lysander, can we report him to the police? Let’s se him behind bars!”
Lysander answered, “Under what charges? Rape? Josiah’s men had already rescued Lora. Harry’s attempt failed, so even if we call the police, they won’t find any evidence and can’t detain him.”
“D*mn it! Are we just going to let him continue with his crimes? Can I hire some people to deal with him?”
Lysander’s eyes darkened slightly. “For now, let’s first ensure Priscilla successfully divorces him, so just bear with it for the time being.”
Daphne stomped her foot resentfully. “I’ve put up with him for almost ten years! I can’t wait to skin this son of a gun alive!”
