Chapter 250 It Is All My Fault
The shadowless lamp was turned on, and the surgery officially began.
The air conditioning in the operating room was very cold, yet a thin layer of cold sweat broke out on her forehead.
“Lynn.”
A clean handkerchief lightly brushed across her forehead.
“Thank you. Hemostat.”
In the next second, the hemostat was handed to her.
However, the hand holding the hemostat was much larger than that of an average girl.
“Lynn went out to make a call.”
Lysander gritted her teeth and took the hemostat without saying anything.
“Dr. Thorne!” Lynn came running back with her phone, her eyes red. “The emergency contact number is not Harry’s at all. It’s his mother’s! His mother said..
“What did she say?”
“She said, if it’s a girl, just let it be. She can’t be bothered to make a trip over. She asked me to sign on her behalf.”
Adrian let out a cold laugh.
Lynn bit her lip and continued, “If it’s a boy… she said to keep the child alive if it comes to
sign the consent form later.”
Lysander felt as if there was a ball of fire burning in her chest.
If it weren’t for the fact that she was still in surgery, she would have gone to meet the mother an duo and slapped them in their faces.
“Dr. Thorne, what do we do now?”
“Did you ask her for Harry’s contact number?”
“I did, but she said he has a very important project to work on and can’t spare the time.”
Project?
It must be Lora, huh?
Lysander thought for a moment, sighed, and said, “Call Dr. Ziegler. We can’t hide this matter anymore.”
“All right!”

Adrian said. “Don’t be distracted and focus on the surgery. We’ll talk about the rest later.
“Okay.”
The surgery took nearly four hours.
When the final stitches were in place, Lysander felt a sudden disappearance of the heavy burden on
her.
Adrian looked at the monitor, then jotted down a few notes in the record book and said. “Everything’s fine. You should get some rest. I’ll have the nurse take Priscilla to the recovery room. I’ll be there watching, so you don’t have to worry.”
Lysander nodded and stepped out of the operating room.
She saw Fred standing outside.
At that moment, he was just an ordinary father, already with white hair, in a state of panic and
confusion.
“Lysander… There was a slight tremble in his voice.
“Don’t worry, Dr. Ziegler. The surgery was successful. Priscilla is in the recovery room, and Dr. Sutton. is looking after her.”
Fred was stunned for a long time. He slumped down onto the ground, beating his chest forcefully. “It’s all my fault, it’s all my fault!”
Lynn hurried to help him up. “Get up first, Dr. Ziegler…”
Fred was assisted to a chair by her and a few junior nurses. He was still somewhat in a daze.
Perhaps he couldn’t understand at all why his lively and adorable daughter would be lying in the operating room, covered in blood, only a few months after getting married.
“Recovery room, yes. I want to see her…”
Lysander gave Lynn a meaningful look. Lynn immediately understood and hurriedly stopped him. “Dr. Ziegler, you’re not sterilized. You can’t go into the recovery room.”
Fred completely lost control, tears streaming down his face. “I just want to see her.”
“I know, I know, but Dr. Sutton is with her now in the recovery room. There’s no need for you to worry. You should rest for a while, have some hot water, and wait for Priscilla to wake up before seeing her. It’s better for Priscilla this way too.”
Lynn had always been a sweet talker. When Fred was at his wits’ end, she convinced him for a while and finally managed to calm him down.
Lysander was also quite tired and went straight back to her own office.
