This kiss came unexpectedly.
Josiah seemed like a wild beast that had lost its sanity. His kisses were without any pattern, seemingly driven only by animal instinct.

Lysander could barely breathe.
She used all her strength to push him but to no avail. Instead, she tore his suit jacket away a bit. The desires in Josiah’s eyes grew even more intense, and he pushed her down onto the seat, covering her completely with his body.

“Really?” He gently pulled away from her, pointing in the direction of the private restaurant. “You think he’s the one for you?”
Lysander took a deep breath. “I don’t need to explain my affairs to you. Get up!”
Josiah didn’t move. Half of his body weight was pressing on her.
In the cramped space of the vehicle, Lysander simply couldn’t move.
The disparity in strength between men and women is significant. Unless Josiah moved away, she couldn’t. do anything.
“That piece of shit almost got his hands on you, and what did he do? He just stood there and watched!”
Lysander had also realized it.
She had to admit that she was disheartened.

Lysander pushed him away and sat up, buttoning her shirt one button at a time.

“No!” Lysander jerked back.
Josiah’s hand stiffened in mid–air. “Did I really scare you? I’m sorry. I… I was a little out of control today.” Lysander fastened the buttons, then wrapped herself tightly in her coat. “Open the door. I want to get out.”
“It’s cold outside. I’m going to go out and get some fresh air to calm down. You should also rest for a while. I still have something to say to you later.”
“I don’t want to hear it.”
“You must.” Josiah’s tone initially hardened, but he quickly softened it again. “Even criminals have a chance to state their case when they are on trial. It’s not a solution for us to keep playing this game of hide and seek. Today is a good opportunity to clear things up once and for all.”
