Chapter 232 He Has Not Given Up
Josiah replied. “I’m not interested.”
“Mr. Guerra, don’t you want to know who that dark–skinned scoundrel involved with Lysander is? Don’t you want revenge?“.
Josiah laughed. “Didn’t you just say that you don’t know much about her affairs?”
Harry laughed and said. “I don’t know much about other things, but I do know about this. And I have a photo of that dark–skinned man. Should I send it to you?”
Josiah glanced at him for a few seconds and said coldly, “Lora likes to listen to classical music. There will be a concert at Harborbrook Music Hall this weekend.”
Harry immediately understood. “Thank you, Mr. Guerra. I will send over the photo of the Dark–skinned man later.”
Meanwhile, Daphne couldn’t help but comment, “Josiah’s act is quite convincing, even his lines are well prepared.
Lysander didn’t speak as she slowly led Daphne away from the center of the action. Soon, she found a secluded corner where they quietly watched the drama unfold.
Harry fiddled with his phone for a while, then took his wine glass and went off to make friends.
Josiah, on the other hand, stayed in the same place, looking around, and quickly spotted the secluded. corner where they were hiding.
After he was certain Harry was busy networking and hadn’t noticed them, he then gave Lysander an earnest look before turning to leave.
Daphne, touching her chin, asked, “Has he really given up on you this time?”
Lysander took a sip of red wine. “I guess so.”
“From the look in his eyes, it doesn’t seem like it.”
“The outcome has been determined. It doesn’t matter what the look in his eyes says. In the past he could even accept his most beloved woman getting married and having children abroad, now it’s not difficult for him to accept that his ex–wife has a new life.”
At exactly nine in the evening, Lora finally made her much–anticipated appearance.
Wearing a long burgundy dress, she slowly descended the stairs in black stilettos, her posture noble yet not lacking the adorable aura of a young girl. She looked pretty with a small round face, big eyes, and a sweet
smile.
Lysander asked, “Daphne, do you know her?”
Daphne shook her head. “I’ve never seen her before. She must be someone Josiah found.”

One couldn’t deny how good–looking Lora was. At the very least, she was much more attractive than the granddaughter of the Stone family.
Men were all visual creatures. Lora easily came out tops in terms of appearance and family background when compared to the little princess of the Stone family. In other words, she was a better match for Harry’s criteria.
As soon as she made her appearance, she attracted everyone’s attention.
No one had seen Lora before. Today was her first public appearance, so everyone was somewhat curious.
Josiah walked over to her and exchanged a few pleasantries, appearing very familiar. It served to further confirm her identity as the heiress of the Seamus Corporation.
Soon, everyone raised their glasses, showering her with compliments, and Lora, without being shy, accepted them all. In the end, she even seemed a little tipsy.
Josiah beckoned the driver over. “Get a few female attendants to help Ms. Lora and then take her home.”
The driver nodded. “Understood.”
Soon, several waitresses helped Lora leave the hotel.
Harry, who had been biding his time on the sidelines, also quietly followed them out.
Daphne was somewhat worried. “This girl has indeed had quite a bit to drink. Is she really drunk or pretending to be drunk? I hope she won’t be taken advantage of by that pig, Harry!”
Feeling frantic, she felt the urge to rush out and see.
Suddenly, Lysander’s phone vibrated.
It was a message from another unfamiliar number:
Don’t go o
I have arranged for a bodyguard to follow her behind the scenes. She is very safe.
Daphne leaned over and took a look. “Is it Josiah?”
Lysander lifted her head, meeting his gaze not far away.
However, their gazes locked for a second before parting.
After confirming that she saw the text message, he quickly averted his gaze and briskly walked away.
