Chapter 222 She Does Not Want To See You
Adrian said indifferently, “Since she’s hiding, it means she doesn’t want to see you. Do you really have to insist on bothering her and earning yourself her dislike, Mr. Guerra?”
“Do you know where she is?”
“For now, yes, but I can’t guarantee I’ll know where she is in the future.”
As he leaned forward, he identified another flawless trajectory and took the shot.
However, this time, before the white ball could make contact with the red one, it was intercepted by another hand.
Josiah swiftly plucked the white ball from the table and tossed it into a nearby trash bin, deliberately ending the game for Adrian.
“I really just want to see her once more, to properly explain things to her.”
Adrian remarked, “Mr. Guerra, not every explanation holds significance. Some are as mundane as plain water, imparting no real change regardless of whether you’ve heard them or not.?
Josiah looked him in the eyes and asked, “Have you decided not to disclose it to me? Fine, I’ll find her myself.”
“Stop looking for her, you won’t find be able to locate her.”
Hearing that, Josiah stopped in his tracks.
Adrian gestured toward the pool table with a nod of his chin, stating, “Defeat me in a game, and I’ll divulge
it to you.
Immediately. Josiah returned to the table. “I hope you keep your word.”
“We’ll talk about it if you win.”
That was the most tense yet exciting snooker game Lynn had ever watched.
Josiah excelled at seizing opportunities, launching an attack immediately when they arose, and clearing more than half of the balls on the table..
Adrian was adept at making things difficult for Josiah; each snooker he set was more challenging than the
last.
One of them started making moves while the other kept countering. As a result, the two of them quickly attracted many spectators to watch them play.
The majority in their midst were hospital staff, all of whom knew Josiah and were even more aware that Adrian had openly pursued Lysander.
Two men engaged in fierce competition at the pool table, each maneuver filled with intensity. The match itself as already captivating, with its own set of highlights. Yet, alongside that spectacle unfolded the off- stage drama of two men vying for the affection of the same woman. The additional layer of tension kept the surrounding spectators on edge, their emotions fluctuating with each turn of events.

Chapter 222 She Does Not Want To See You
After a prolonged stalemate, Adrian finally made a slight mistake in the endgame.
Hence, his last move wasn’t executed well, leaving an opening in the snooker.
Josiah took advantage of the opportunity and cleared all the balls in one breath.
He raised his hand and tossed the cue onto the pool table, sighing in relief. “Tell me, where’s she?”
Adrian wasn’t upset. He smile and said, “She left.”
“She’s gone? When?”
“Before you came here.”
Josiah gritted his teeth and snapped, “You kept me here playing snooker just so she could get away?”
Adrian nodded with a smile, “Yes.”
Josiah bellowed furiously. “Are you toying me around, Adrian?‘
“Yup.” he admitted frankly. “So, what do you want, Mr. Guerra?”

Josiah took a deep breath and responded coldly, “Do you think this tactic of yours will work? Even if she doesn’t choose me in the end, it certainly won’t be you.”
“I’m different from you,” Adrian stated. “I won’t pressure her into anything. If she picks me, I’ll treat her well. If not, I’ll simply remain a good colleague and a good friend to her. I won’t treat her as a rebound. Unlike you,
Mr. Guerra…”
He chuckled before continuing: “You desire to have all the girls, but in the end, you end up with none.”
“You-
“Excuse me, Mr. Guerra, it seems like someone is looking for you over there.”
Carol quickly walked over and whispered a few words to Josiah, looking somewhat solemn.
Afterward, Josiah’s expression became tense too.
He turned to glance at Adrian. “Dr. Sutton, despite being Aiden’s elder brother, you’re nobody to Lysander. Don’t you dare think you’re qualified to punish me on her behalf. Ms. Collins, let’s go.”
Josiah then left hurriedly. Carol led the way and helped him open the door.
Lynn was still fuming, relishing in misfortune, she remarked, “He left in such a hurry, I bet his mistress is stirring up trouble again!”
