“Ah! This is ours. You can’t steal in Jolene exclaimed. She was frightened. She held on tightly to the wooden fork with the grilled fish on it and blocked Meghan’s hand with her other hand to prevent the latter from snatching it.

Meghan raised her hand angrily and slapped Jolene in the face. “You’ve all eaten, and the rest belongs to me and Sam Hand it over yourself, or don’t blame me for being rudel said Meghan.
Amidst fury, she did not forget to call Samson. “Sam, come help me. They want to steal our food. We must defend our share and not let them take advantage of us! Meghan said.
As Meghan was about to snatch the fish again, Travis grabbed her wrist before she could touch the wooden fork and kicked her unceremoniously.
“Argh!” exclaimed Meghan. She staggered two steps back with the kick and let out a scream.
“Y–You hit me? Aren’t you afraid that Ill ask Eddie to ban you and make you lose your job in the entertainment industry?” Meghan said angrily.
Travis sneered, “It’s not like I can only work in the local entertainment industry. If I can’t survive here. I can go to Kepraria
After all. Travis originally made his debut in Repraria and returned to the country after he became famous.
Edward could not possibly meddle in Kepranza’s entertainment industry, no matter how influential he was.
Besides, the entertainment industry did not belong to the Gallagher family. Edward might not be able to blacklist Travis.
For some celebrities with little commercial value, the major investors might do Edward a favor, but it might not be the case when it came to valuable celebrities.
“Travis, how can you hit her?” Samson questioned Travis unhappily as he walked quickly in Meghan and put his arms around her teetering body. Meghan threw herself into Samson’s arms. Travis laughed in exasperation. “What nonsense are you talking about? When did we steal your food?” he asked.
Meghan pointed at the fish in their hands and said, “Stop denying You’re still holding it
“Do you mean these two fish?” Travis asked.
Meghan nodded and said, “That’s right. You finally admit it!“
Travis said, “Are you out of your mind! When did I admit it? These two fish were given to us by Evangeline. When did they become yours?”
Meghan said, “I know these two fish are from Evangeline. She gave it to all of us, but you guys secretly ate it behind our backs and even tried to eat our share. You’ve gone too far! You’re inhuman!”
Samson echoed, “What you did was unfair. Since it belongs to all of us, you should wait for everyone to gather and share it equally, but you secretly ate it without telling Meghan and me. This behavior is wrong in itself. What’s worse, you even hit Meghan,”
Travis laughed and said sarcastically, “Haha! Who told you Evangeline gave it to all of us?”
Samson frowned and asked, “Isn’t it?”

course not! This is the reward Evangeline gave us for performing a show. You don’t get a share!”
Samson’s face siffened.
Meghan seeined to be slapped in the face in public, and her face turned ashen and red in embarrassment and anger. ‘Evangeline is so selfish! So she didn’t share the food with them she thought.
Samson looked toward Evangeline not far away, besitated for a moment, and said, “Can Meghan and I also get the food if we perform a show for you?”
Evangeline raised her eyes indifferently, looked at him coldly, and sneered, “I don’t want to see you perform. Just seeing you sickens me “You…” Samson untered. His face turned ashen and red with anger.
Meghan said angrily. “Evangeline, why are you so cold–blooded? We are your family. You’d rather give outsiders a chance than help your own

With a faint smile, Evangeline said, “Okay, okay. I’m worse than an animal while you’re the same as an animal, all right?”
“You…” Meghan uttered. She was furious,
She gritted her teeth and looked at Jolene and the others again. Then, she replaced her arrogant look with a weak expression and said pitifully, “Since Evangeline has given these fish to you, they belong to you. You have the right to divide them. Please give me some. If you share the food with me, I’ll ask Eddie to provide you with resources after we leave here?”
They were unmoved.
They knew Evangeline’s detestation for Meghan. They would offend her if they shared the food she kindly gave them with someone she hated.
Even if they were not afraid of offending Evangeline, they thought it would be cheap of them to do that as a person
Meghan bit her lips and said sadly, “Are you so cruel as to leave me to die! I haven’t eaten for days. If I still don’t get to eat anything. I may really starve to death…
They still did not react.
“She won’t starve to death. Aren’t there wild vegetables everywhere in the forest‘ they thought
Seeing they were unmoved. Meghan was so angry. She cursed, “You’re so selfish and cruel. You will go to hell! If I starve to death, you will be the murderer and will never be in peace!”
But no matter what she said. Travis and the others ignored her and continued eating the grilled fish in their hands
“Stop it, Meghan, Let’s go,” Samson said. He grabbed Meghan and dragged her away.

Travis picked another leaf and played the music.

In the distance, Meghan kept stamping her feet angrily as she heard those songs.
“Damn, we’re all abandoned here. Why should they be so happy while Sam and I are resentful? It’s all Sam’s fault she thought.
On the fifth day, when Evangeline woke up, Jolene and the others were still
sleeping.
In the past few days, they could not sleep all night because of hunger. Even if they managed to fall asleep, they slept uneasily.

soundly all night and did not get up until dawn.
Evangeline packed up and walked into the forest with her backpack. She would rather play with monkeys in the forest than stay with those people.

Meghan and Samson were too hungry to sleep last night. They got up earlier than Evangeline.
Seeing Evangeline walking into the forest, Meghan grabbed Samson and followed her quietly.
“Why are you following her? Are you still thinking of beating her? I suggest you give up the idea. We can’t even beat her when we’re full, let alone we’ve been starving for days now,” Samson said,

They did not know whether it was poisonous or not. Seeing that the leaves were thick and green and did not look poisonous, they had pulled them up and eaten them.

Evangeline passed through the forest and came to the foot of the mountain.
A group of monkeys rested on the trees at the foot of the mountain. At the sight of Evangeline, they all started screaming
Seeing them eating bananas, Evangeline bluntly asked them, “Where did you get the bananas? Give me two.
She had been here several times but did not find banana trees nearby.
The monkey king snatched the bananas from two little monkeys, jumped down from the tree, ran up to Evangeline, and handed her the bananas.
“Thanks,” Evangeline said as she took it over, sat down somewhere, and began to taste it.
When Meghan and Samson finally got to the forest edge, they saw a monkey giving Evangeline bananas from a distance.
Meghan was so angry that she dug her nails into the tree bark. “Why do even monkeys want to please Evangeline and give her food! I’m more honorable than her. The monkeys should come to please me and bring me food! she thought.
