On her way, she observed numerous chickens and hares, but she wasn’t in a hurry to catch them

The monkeys that besieged her typically inhabited the mountains and would venture into the forest but never dwelled in the woods.
This observation suggested the presence of a mountain behind the forest,

Evangeline swing on vines intermittently and crawled on the ground occasionally, advancing rapidly.
After about half an hour, she finally passed through the forest and saw the mountain.
Evangeline looked up and spouted the monkeys that had fled from her.
Upon seeing her, they screamed in horror and hastily scampered up the mountain.

No one was there to answer her.
Evangeline shrugged and began to climb up the mountain.
She was fortunate to discover wild grapes on the mountain.

On the way back, she caught an unlucky lure.
When she returned to the original camp, she saw Meghan and others.
They had nothing before them.

They all appeared frightened, with disheveled clothes and messy hair,
