The next morning was just like yesterday’s, asides the fact that Cecilia was joining us this time around to
exercise.
The guys had decided that she was going to be living with us, since she and Stanley had accepted each other and the both of them were going to her house after breakfast to introduce himself to her parents and also bring her things back to this place.
To be honest, I envied Cecelia. She didn’t have to do anything and she got accepted by her mate. As for me, I had to express my feelings to Damien for ten years before we found out that we were mates and he finally accepted. me, only to get rejected one year later.
I could tell that she was going to be happy in her relationship, Stanley was a nice person. And unlike me, whol was an Omega, she was a commoner in the Greenwood Pack and could easily be accepted than me.
This time around, we went to exercise before breakfast, the five of us heading to the training grounds.
As usual, people were staring at us, making me want to cower in fear. I knew they were wondering who we were and why their leaders were moving with us, but I couldn’t help but feel that all their attention was directed towards me.
I didn’t like the fact that they were staring, but I had no right to complain. I was a pregnant stranger in their pack, who was moving with their leader. Asides from that, I was also wolfless, making everything so difficult at the same time.
“You seem uncomfortable, Jane, are you sure everything is alright?” Stanley asked, his attention shifting to me.
He had been so focused on his mate since he met her yesterday that he had no time for any of us. But I couldn’t blame him, she was his mate and he needed to give her all the time in the world. All the time I didn’t receive from my own mate.
“Of course. I am only feeling wary due to their stares, “I confessed, nudging at the members who were staring and they all turned their heads to look at them, like they didn’t notice before.
“You don’t need to get bothered about them, their stares are inevitable,” David stated and I nodded.

I was born as an Omega and I had to struggle as much as I could just to be able to get to the position I’ve wanted and also get the love of my life. But I ended up getting pregnant and sent away instead. My life is messed up already, so I have to feel conscious of everything. “I admitted, arguing further.
“Why do you sound like you are diminishing your self worth?” Cecelia interrupted, making all our attention go

“Self worth?” I asked, feeling a bit confused as I didn’t know what she was talking about.
Hmm,” she nodded in response. “Who says your life is messed up, when you’re just entering another phase in your life? Just because your mate rejected you and you’re currently pregnant for him, doesn’t mean you did something wrong. You are going to become a mother, something every lady dreams of, mate or no mate. You would be happy if I were you,” she reprimanded and I pursed my lips together, saying nothing.
She was right. I was belittling myself a lot. I get that I was a wolfless Omega, but not anymore. I was now a lone wolf and I had the freedom to do whatever I wanted to, without asking anyone for permission.
I now had people to care for. Aside from the guys, my babies were my pride and my hope and that was the most important thing now.
It was finally time for me to let go of Damien once and for all, cut off the little thread I had been hanging on, hoping that one day, he would soon come back to me. Even though I knew that was impossible.

It was as if I had won a lottery. I couldn’t believe that the Moon Goddess still had my back, after I thought that
she had forsaken me after the rejection and the banishment.
It was also as if the guys were sent to me by her, because my meeting with each of them was by pure coincidence and none of it showed any sign that they would be my helpers and I couldn’t be more than grateful for that.
And as for Cecelia, we were going to be good friends, I confirmed it after this morning.
