The crowd hadn’t fully dispersed yet.
Many people heard Hellen’s accusation. They stopped in their tracks and looked over.
Aurora was in no mood to argue with them. She darted them a cold glare and turned around, walking away hastily.
“Stop her! That fraud is getting away!” Hellen shrieked.
John jumped at Aurora reaching out an arm to grab her shoulder. Aurora shook him off with one move and shoved him.

He clenched his chest and cried out hysterically, “The G**a from Ever Moon Pack is bullying the civilians! Help! Somebody helps us!”
Aurora clenched her fists in anger.
As much as she wanted to avoid these clowns, they didn’t allow her a single moment of peace.

“And fine, let’s talk if you insist. Should I remind you of how you tortured me over the years? When I was a child living under your roof, I never had a full meal! I haven’t asked you for the medical bills yet!”
The Ravenwood lapsed into silence, an embarrassed look on their face.
“Plus!” Aurora raised her voice, “You took away all my money when I got expelled. I could have used that my money to buy myself freedom from the rogues. But NO! You stole it from me. 100 million in total! That is enough money to keep a normal family going for more than 10 years! How dare you ask me for money now?!”
But the Ravenwood was no normal family.
They lived the most extravagant lifestyle. The 100 million that they stole from Aurora was long gone by now. And without anybody in court to help them out with their finance, they would so go bankrupt.
They needed money. And Aurora must give them the money. She owed it to them!
Hellen took out a large handkerchief and sobbed into it, “You made that 100 million using the capital that we gave you! We simply claimed back what was ours. Nothing wrong with that.”

Aurora felt a furious feeling at heart.
The Ravenwood were even more barefaced than she expected.

Damien tumed to the Ravenwood again and said, “But let’s do the math first. I let Chloe manage the packhouse after Aurora Jeft. Yet Chlor not only squandered the wealth-that Aurora accumulated for the pack, but also accrued significant debts. Just yesterday, I found out that Chloe’s debts amount to over 200 million. You adopted Chloe as your daughter a few months back. So shouldn’t you be responsible for covering the losses that she caused me?
Paul’s jaw dropped, “Wait what…NO! That Chloe has nothing to do with us! She is adopted! We disowned her already!”
Damien let out a cold sneer and continued. “And I was going through your company’s accounts the other day and noticed some missed tax bills…In fact, your company hadn’t paid any tax in almost 10 years.”
He lifted the corner of his lips into a sarcastic smile and looked around the Ravenwood’s panicked faces.
“Do the math, Mr. and Mrs. Ravenwood. Subtract what Chloe owed me and your missed tax bill from that 500 million and I am happy to pay for the rest. But I am afraid that you will end up owing me instead.”
He turned away from the Ravenwood and nodded at Aurora, “Shall we go now, G**a Aurora?”
Aurora smiled and followed him walking away.
Damien walked her all the way to her car and got the door for her.
Yet Aurora didn’t get into the car right away.
She looked at Damien and said to him sincerely, “Thank you, really, for today.”
If it weren’t for him, she wouldn’t know how to get rid of the Ravenwood.

She knew that she shouldn’t care about what Damien thought.
But she still couldn’t help but wonder.

Aurora didn’t know what to say to this.
A strong wave of emotions washed over her.
