Chapter 2
Shock was evident on everyone’s faces, including Chloe’s on the throne.
Alpha Damien was supposed to return the day after tomorrow after his patrol, yet here he was, clearly b than expected.
“Damien, thank god that you’re back!”
Chloe’s voice was filled with surprise and joy, though a sly glint lingered in her eyes. She gently placed a her chest, as if deeply shocked, and swayed on her feet.
Damien walked right pass Aurora and toward Chloe.
“What’s going on here? Are you alright?” he held Chloe’s shoulders and asked.
Chloe rested her head on Damien’s shoulder, her face pale. “I’m fine, it’s just… I found out about the affair be Aurora and her guard Steven. I asked guards to contain her for the moment and she started yelling at me…I a got a heart attack-”
“LIAR!!”
Aurora cried, infuriated by Chloe’s shamelessness, “I never-”
Damien glared at Aurora, snarling:
“Stop yelling at Chloe again! I will goddamn kill you if Chloe’s heart condition gets worse!”

She had spent millions bribing Jenny and the guards and went to great lengths to kill Steven.
Finally, Damien was hers now!
Aurora was thrown into a cold and filthy prison cell. A musty smell hung in the air. Waters dripped
It was freezing down here. Aurora curled up in a corner and felt something gnawing at her foot.

The jailer sneered, “This is not a f**g hotel! You can’t demand a room change! Plus, you probably won’t this cell for long anyway. Alpha Adrian might execute you first thing in the morning.”
Aurora glared at him with tears circling in her eyes.

Aurora slid down against the cold wall, her heart filled with worry and hatred.
Chloe came at her with a thorough plan. With the kind of influence that Chloe had on Damien, she would m certainly die if she sat around and did nothing.
Her parents were very wealthy. She was not their favorite daughter but they were still bloods.
If they were willing to talk to Alpha Damien, perhaps she still had a glimmer of hope…
Meanwhile, Chloe had moved into the Luna’s chamber, which originally belonged to Aurora.
Right now, she was sitting in front of Aurora’s dresser, dressed in Aurora’s silk nightrobe, reveling in her victory

Jenny, who was now her new confidante, rubbed her shoulders and flattered:
“Alpha Damien has allowed you to move into the Luna Chamber. I believe that he will make you his Luna within time.”
Chloe smiled smugly, “I agree. And when that day comes, I will reward you with a shit loads of money. You won’t egret leaving Aurora.”

Seconds later, a couple dressed in luxurious attire gracefully made their ways into the room.
They were Aurora’s parents, the Ravenwood, the most wealthy couple in this pack.
They came into the palace right after hearing about what happened today.
Yet instead of going to check on their daughter Aurora, they came here to Chloe.
Chloe invited them to sit with her and sighed, “Aurora wants you to talk to Alpha Damien and save h she did was unforgivable. But I believe that all people deserve a second chance. So if you want to talk I am happy to set a time for you…

Mrs. Ravenwood gritted contemptuously, “She is a disgrace to our family! I pray for the Alpha to execute quicker and wash away the stain on our family.”
Chloe leaned forward slightly, faking a concerned look, “But she is your biological daughter…”
“So what?” the Duke snorted. “Even without her, we still have 3 sons left! That’s more than enough!”
Chloe was thrilled internally, but she didn’t let that thrill show.
She sighed softly and said, “You are nice parents. You deserve to have a daughter who isn’t an adulterer. Actu am an orphan…So if you’re willing, you can adopt me and I will love and respect you the way that Aurora neve did.”
The Ravenwood exchanged a look of joy and surprise.
They knew Chloe’s current influence in the court. Forming a close bond with her would surely benefit them.
Mr. Ravenwood agreed without hesitation, “It would be our great honor, Miss Chloe.”

“Of course. From now on, you are officially a member of the R

Mrs. Ravenwood took down a sapphire bracelet from her wrist and handed to Chloe, “This bracelet is a limited edition, worth 50 million dollars. Take it and consider it a courtesy from your mother.”

Chloe held her breathe staring at that bracelet.
So the rumors were real-The Ravenwood was indeed loaded!
That w***e Aurora didn’t deserve such a wealthy family.
But she did!
“Thank you, mother.” She giggled and put that bracelet into her pocket.
“But do you know how Alpha Damien intends to handle Aurora?” Mrs. Ravenwood asked cautiously, a hint of malice in her eyes. “If Aurora lives, it could hinder our plans.”
Chloe smiled, twirling a lock of hair idly, “Don’t worry, she will suffer a fate worse than death…A group of rogue invaded our border last week and asked for food and women. Aurora will be sent to those wildlings.”
“As their whore?” Mr. Ravenwood asked with surprise.
“Indeed.” Chloe giggled, “Now she can **k as many men as she wants.”
