George clenched his fist tightly, while Kate, observing Lucas’s severe injuries, felt her concern. deepen.
Lucas had leaped out of the car, indicating that Eric and the others likely did the same. The vehicle was badly wrecked, and had they not jumped, they might have met the same fate as the three bodies recovered.
