If he brought the child back, Yvette would have no reason to leave, and Shannon would stop pestering him for a grandchild.
It was late at night. There were four bodyguards guarding the VIP hospital room in Asnea. They paced back and forth, preventing strangers from approaching Noah’s hospital room.

“Daddy?” Xavier looked at Noah’s pale little face and asked in a deep voice, “Who’s your Daddy?”
There was a sly look in Noah’s eyes. “Mister, Daddy’s the most powerful man in these parts. Don’t you know him? His name is Claude.”
Xavier’s expression immediately turned as dark as thunder.
