Anya glanced at lan. She dared not speak to him,

After a pause, she looked at lan. She wanted to remind Lily to not stay with him. However, lan had been trailing behind them, so she could not
Anya went to get food. On the way back, someone tripped her up. She lost her footing and lurched forward, falling to the ground. Food was strewn all over the floor.
Lily was looking at her phone with her head bowed. When she heard the noise, she looked up, and her eyes narrowed.
Tan noticed the commotion as well. He was about to fly into a rage when Sean grabbed him. “Tan, that’s pack Dalton. It’s better if you don’t go.”
The Fletcher family was quite formidable in Lagerstick, but Lagersfield was nothing compared to Bridgeport.
Jack Dalton was the second son of Bridgeport’s Dalton family. He was a tyrant in Ember Creek High School

“Anya, are you ignoring what I said?” Jack stepped on Anya’s hand forcefully, his eyes brimming with contempt. “I told you that you’re not allowed to eat at the cafeteria, didn’t 1? Do you think someone is lowly as yourself deserves to eat in the same place as I do? The nerve.”
“I–I’m sorry. I made a mistake.” Anya endured the pain without arguing. She did not dare to argue
Jack looked down on the poor, and Anya was from a rural area. She had no place to stay in the city, so she could only stay in the school dorm and have her meals at the cafeteria However, after Jack had bumped into her once, he despised her status. He thought she did not deserve to eat in the same room as people from the upper class, so he often bullied her.
He would bully her every few days. All Anya could do was endure it.
Even during lunch, she would wait furtively outside the cafeteria. Only after Jack left did she dare to go inside. She did not dare to eat there either. After getting her food, she would dash back to the dorm.
She had not planned to go to the cafeteria that day. However, she had to show her new classmate around the school.
She had noticed that Jack would only head to the cafeteria at 12:30 pm. She assumed that if she took Lily there earlier, she would not bump into Jack. Unfortunately, that was not

However, Lily ignored him. With a glacial pace, she made her way to Anya.
Jack had lifted his fret to kick Anya when Lily suddenly reached out and clasped his leg. “Since you can’t control it, I’ll just disable at.” with that, she tightened her grip. There was a crack, and jack screamed.
