Chapter 59
As soon as Alyssa finished, Sarah’s face darkened. “You don’t need to tell me that. Just do what you’re told. No excuses!”
Alyssa nodded. “Okay.”
With that, she took the documents to the front desk for copying only to find that there were already people ahead of her in
line.
She was lost in thought for a moment at the sight. ‘If I were to copy so many documents, it would take all day. And if someone else needs to use the copier later, it wouldn’t be right for me to keep monopolizing it.‘
So, she headed straight to the pantry, took an empty spot, and started photographing the documents page by page.
Andrew was now also in the pantry having coffee with Simon, discussing the new product launch event. Suddenly, he noticed Alyssa approaching with files in her hands and photographing the documents at the same time.
He let out a sneer and said to Simon, “I knew it. It isn’t that simple for her to be here. She’s indeed here to steal our company’s confidential for Sean Rivera.”
Simon frowned. “Sir, then why did you allow her to work at the company?”
“What do you think?” Andrew gave him a glance.
Simon seemed to have realized something suddenly. “I get it now. You must be planning to gather evidence and send her directly to prison. Now that we have the evidence, should I call the police and accuse her of stealing business confidential?”
Andrew raised an eyebrow. “Not now. Let’s go and see what she’s doing.”
Simon nodded.
They stood up from their seats and walked around a pillar.
Behind the position where Alyssa was sitting was a decorative wall with various sizes of circular holes.
They circled to the back of the decorative wall, where they could see Alyssa through the holes, and carefully observed the documents Alyssa was photographing.
Simon frowned and mouthed to Andrew, “The company’s history of entrepreneurship. That’s not exactly confidential, is it? We have it on the company’s website.”
Andrew also frowned and mouthed back to him, “Keep watching.”
They continued to watch for a considerable while, as Alyssa took photos of all the documents.
Apart from the company’s history of entrepreneurship, she photographed introductions to clothing that had been released in the past, and even the company’s promotional pages–nothing particularly confidential.
It took her about half an hour to photograph these documents before she left with the files without even having a drink of
water.
After she left, Simon spoke up. “These aren’t confidential, are they? I wonder what Ms. Dawson wants with these photos?”
Andrew replied with a frown, “She can’t be foolish enough to think these are the company’s confidential. Go and see what she’s doing with them.”
“Alright.” Simon nodded and quickly followed Alyssa to the secretary’s office.

Sarah frowned as she saw Alyssa return within half an hour. “Alyssa, didn’t I tell you to photocopy the documents and distribute them to everyone? Why are you back so soon? Are you slacking off?”
Alyssa looked at her and said, “I plan to send out electronic versions to everyone, which is much faster than photocopying and distributing.”
“I’ve already said there are no electronic versions,” Sarah huffed.
“I can create electronic versions myself,” Alyssa shot back.
“Are you going to type these documents manually into the computer? Alyssa, the company didn’t pay you for such pointless tasks. It seems you’re not suitable for this job anymore,” Sarah said. “Go to the HR department and tell them you can’t handle this job. You need to resign.”
“Who said I’m going to type?” Alyssa raised an eyebrow.
Then what are you going to do about it?” Sarah asked impatiently.
