Chapter 29
Andrew was stressing about his family possibly popping up in Eidale City for a surprise visit, and he might need Alyssa to
brush them off.
Alyssa got a weird vibe when he mentioned this, but she played along, whipping out her phone to ask, “Okay, what’s your number? I’ll hit you up on WhatsApp.”
Andrew didn’t say a word. He just flashed his phone screen with his number.
Alyssa couldn’t help but roll her eyes and think. “Well, someone full of themselves.”
After she added Andrew on WhatsApp, she bounced pretty quickly.
First thing she did was snag a pinhole camera, rigged it to her phone, then hopped a cab to the hotel Hailey had sorted out.
She checked into a room just one floor down from Hailey’s.
Dumping her bags, she gopped onto the bed, cranked the AC, and buzzed Hailey with a mix of panic and plea in her voice. “Hailey, it’s Sean’s birthday today, and you said you’d have my back.”
Hailey almost laughed hearing Alyssa sound so desperate. She mused, ‘Gosh, she’s still so dependent on me. But aloud, Hailey was all support, “Of course, I’ve got you. We’re besties, aren’t we? The room’s all set for you..
Alyssa bit her lip, feigning worries. “But Sean’s still peeved at me What if he doesn’t show?”
Hailey said, “Leave it to me. I’ll get him there for you.
Alyssa cracked a smile. That was exactly what she needed to hear
“Okay, thank you Hailey. You’re so nice to me, Alyssa said innocently. “By the way, Hailey, are you at the hotel right now? I want to come over and take a look. It’s my first time. I want everything to be perfect.”
“Alright, I’ll send you the hotel address. Head over,” Hailey said, ending the call with a smirk. ‘Alyssa actually believes. tonight’s the perfect night for her first time, she mused.
Tonight, Hailey was plotting big time. She was all set to trash Alyssa’s rep, turn her into the circle’s joke, and spill to Sean about how Alyssa’s not all that, making it clear she was the better pick.
Ms. Dawson won’t be around anymore, and I’m not just the Dawson family chauffeur’s daughter now,‘ she pondered. Hailey splurged on the presidential suite, not sweating the cost since she figured she could just hit up Shannon for the cash when she got back home. She hadn’t expected Shannon to be her dad’s old flame before. It all clicked when Hailey and Alyssa played matchmaker–Shannon didn’t hesitate and married her father with all of Mateo’s assets.
Shannon, on her end, was super conscious about not coming off as the evil stepmom. So, she went out of her way to treat Hailey way better than Alyssa, showering her with more kindness and loot.
Hailey replaced all the ambient candles in the hotel with the ones she brought.
The candles she brought were bought through a particular means, and they were strong turn–ons. When the candles were lit, they could turn any woman into a slut.
She pursed her lips, a triumphant smile on her face.
Alyssa ordered a cup of coffee from a nearby cafe, and only after she finished it did she slowly go upstairs. She had to give Hailey some time to swap the candles.

Hailey showed Alyssa around the room and asked, “How is it? Ita nice place, isn’t it?”
Alyssa nodded and said. “The surroundings are good. It’s just that the atmosphere is a bit lacking”
Hailey couldn’t help but roll her eyes.
