Alyssa didn’t think carefully about this before. Now she realized Hailey likely spread the scandals online. It could be the scented candles that got her all worked up. Alyssa used to believe that the hotel provided those candles, but now she suspected it was Hailey all along.
How could I be so hopelessly stupid? Alyssa thought.
Alyssa pulled her hand out of Hailey’s, looked at her, and asked coldly, “So, what do you think I should give him?”
“You. You are the most precious gift for him. You’re gonna get married anyway. It won’t hurt to have sex with him a few days earlier. He will be thrilled,” Hailey said with a sweet smile and winked at Alyssa. “That way, you would really belong to each
other.
Alyssa scoffed inwardly, ‘Since Hailey is so intent on setting me up. How could I waste all her hard work?”
Alyssa spoke up. “You’re right. You can arrange it for me. It’s his birthday the day after tomorrow.”
“Okay. Rest assured, and leave it to me.” Hailey smiled softly. Her smile was so creepily sweet. No wonder Sean likes her. He always has a thing on sweet girls, thought Alyssa.
“Good. I’ll count on you.” Alyssa nodded and went back to her room, leaving Hailey in the living room.
Hailey looked at the leftovers, quickly grabbed her bag, and left, She didn’t want to stay and clean up.
That night, Alyssa lay on her bed, unable to sleep, contemplating her future. She realized that she had given everything to Sean before, but he treated her like trash. Now that she had another chance, she felt determined to take control of her life and not repeat the same mistakes.
Alyssa wanted Sean to know that she could give him everything if she cared about him and take it away if she no longer gave a damn about him. She wanted the house her father had given her back.
However, Alyssa had no intention of reclaiming Rivorn Clothing. This company, set up by her and Sean, would only remind her of how ridiculous she had once been. But she wouldn’t leave Rivorn Clothing to Sean and Hailey either. She had fought for this company and would destroy it with her own hands.
The only valuable thing Alyssa had was the 20% share of Rivorn Clothing, and she had to make good use of it. She placed her hands over her eyes and thought hard when suddenly a name came to mind.
Andrew Coleman, the president of Coleman Fashion, was Sean’s arch–enemy. Coleman Fashion was established just three years ago as a clothing brand, similar to Rivorn Clothing,
Unlike its competitor, Coleman Fashion was like the new kid on the block, still learning the ropes of the industry. Despite. being relatively new, it quickly rose to be a strong rival to Rivori Clothing with its unique brand and designs.
During her time at the company, Alyssa worked tirelessly to always stay one step ahead of Coleman Fashion by launching new products and hiring famous designers and models to design and promote for the company. Even though Coleman Fashion was already powerful, it was always outperformed by Rivorn Clothing-
Alyssa could see that the decision–maker at Coleman Fashion was formidable, and every time he last to her, it was because Alyssa was always one step ahead of his
