Chapter 307 Thought she couldn’t get into Craydon University
But whether it was Myrna, Stephanie, or the relatives from Melcester, in his eyes, they were all insignificant individuals. His perspective and aspirations were always focused on Nemmington.
The conflicts between ordinary people, in his eyes, were nothing more than trivial matters.
Not being able to compromise is simply a lack of sufficient interests.
Poor people, they were just given a little money and sent away.
His own niece Stephanie was no exception. When she saw him, she had a bitter melon face, but as soon as she heard that she could go to Nemmington, she immediately burst into laughter, wiping away her
tears.
So he thought that Myrna was the same.
It is not irretrievable.

Karter looked at her and spoke, “Stephie is going to study in Nemmington, she wants to apply for independent admission at Craydon University.”
Myrna raised an eyebrow when she first heard about it, appearing to have little reaction. “Oh.”
The luck was pretty good.
Just lost the scholarship quota for Hebbury College of Art, and immediately set my sights on the even better Craydon University. It

seems like Karter will still be able to help.
However, Stephanie’s grades were evaluated by Craydon University… Myrna’s eyes were full of disdain, not that she looked down on her, but she really didn’t take her seriously!
Her reaction appeared deliberate to Karter, as if she deliberately pretended not to care.
Karter immediately said, “Do you want to apply to Craydon University?”
“?” Myrna looked at him inexplicably, her voice hoarse and somewhat lazy, “Final exams.
Karter smiled and suggested, “Do you want to come with me to Nemmington, like Stephie? I can arrange a tutor for you to catch up on your studies in this one month. Once your written exam results come out, if they are not too bad, I will try to find some connections for you and strive for an interview opportunity. This way, the chances of getting into Craydon University will be much higher.”

He didn’t know that someone of Emilee’s caliber from Craydon University had personally come to Myrna’s door and offered her a scholarship to study in the prestigious Department of Clinical Medicine.
But Myrna refused.
He simply remembered that Myrna had average grades, slightly worse than Stephanie.
Stephanie definitely pursued the art route. The Department of Music had lower cultural course requirements compared to other departmen and Stephanie found it challenging to get into Craydon University. Of course, Myrna needed to take additional classes.

He promised earnestly. “Don’t worry you are just like Stephie to me, both of you are nieces. Whatever she has, I will also give you a share. You are all the same in my eyes.”
Myrna agreed to answer his call and come for the appointment only because Karter was the only person in the Stark family who had treated her fairly.
At least during the few days when Karter visited the Stark family, he never forgot to bring Stephanie a gift.
She was willing to give Karter some face and treat him as an acquaintance elder, but that’s all. The position of Karter and Alfi in her heart could never be the same. She could compromise on some things for the little one, but Karter… let it go.
Myrna didn’t directly answer his question about going to Nemmington, she only asked him, “How long does Karter plan to stay in Melcester?”
Karter, a very intelligent person, saw through her silent rejection at a glance. He felt slightly disappointed in his heart, but he managed to remain calm and said with a smile, “If you want to bring Stephie back to Nemmington, you may not be able to stay for long.”
Myrna leaned forward, her pitch–black eyes clear and bright, dark and profound. Looking at him, she casually said, “Take some time before leaving, I’ll treat you to a meal, you choose the location.”
Karter came from Nemmington, and he didn’t think much of the restaurants in small places like Melcester. He had only heard that Watershed Restaurant was good, but it was not easy to make a reservation there.
Last time he came back, Luther couldn’t make a reservation.
