Chapter 193
Harriet was about to thank the person who had tactfully helped her. However, when she saw it was Millie, her expression changed instantly.

Millie looked at Harriet. She was the most beautiful lady among the noble women. She was elegantly dressed and seemed to really like bodycon dresses. Harriet wore them when she bumped into her for the past few times. Her eyebrows and eyes were beautiful. Even at fifty, she remained very attractive.

Harriet knew she was at a disadvantage, but she still said defiantly, “What you said is not entirely true. You’re the one who can’t keep your husband. Otherwise, how are others able to successfully pursue him?”
“You’re absolutely right, Mrs. Lowell. So I don’t want this trash anymore. I’ll give it up to Joanna. Millie smirked.
As soon as she finished with her words, Simon also came back
Harriet appeared visibly upset. She exclaimed, “Joanna is not a trash can. What do you mean by giving up your trash to her? Millie, don’t belittle others if you can’t handle it yourself.”
Simon heard Harriet’s scolding from afar. He hurriedly approached and positioned himself in front of Millie. He playfully asked with a smile, “Mrs. Lowell, what’s the matter? Why are you
