Chapter 93
–“Watch out!” Emily instinctively pulled Bonnie, lait got hit herself. The object fell, spilling scalding hot liquid on Emily’s leg, soaking through her
cotton skirt. “Ah!” A scream pierced the sky as Emily collapsed on the ground, her face twisted in pain.
Bonnie hurried to help her up. “Emily!” She lifted her skirt, revealing pale legs covered in red blisters, looking terrifying. “Emily..” Bonnie’s face went pale
Amidst the scream, Lenore abruptly looked up. Her game character had jumped into a river and drowned. She closed her phone and got up to walk over to Bonnie. Silas frowned, said a few more words on the phone, then hung up and followed her.
When they reached backstage, they saw a group of people gathered around. Homie’s voice could be heard calling Emily’s name, her tone almost in tears. “Call an ambulance, quick” The people around seemed to finally catch on, but at first, no one moved
Joseph frowned, “What the heck happened now!”
“Move aside.” Lenore’s cold, sharp voice came from outside the crowd. Everyone turned to look at her, remembering how she had eut clothes with a knife the day before, and they quickly stepped back
In the center, Emily had already passed out from the pain. Bonnie was holding her, repeatedly calling her name. Nearby on the ground was a broken hot water kentle, with a large puddle of water spreading out.
“Lenore!” Bonnie’s face brightened as if seeing a savior, “Lenore, Emily got hurt saving me, please help her!”
Lenore glanced at Emily’s leg, her brows furrowing. She instructed Joseph. “Get some ice and call an ambulance.”
up timidly from the crowd, raising her hand hesitantly.
“I already called one!” a girl spoke up
The ice pack came quickly. Lehore took off her heavy coat and threw it to Silas, and then rolled up her sleeves to do some quick cooling treatment on Emily.
Silas looked at the coat that had been tossed his way and then at the girl intently kneeling on the ground. There was a flicker of emotion in his eyes.
Bonnie stood nearby, trembling with fear, “Lenore, that kettle was coming right at me.” If it hadn’t been for Emily, she’d be the one on the floor
Lenores eyes were as cold as ice, and her aura was not much warmer than the ice pack in her hand, making the large backstage feel a bit cramped She asked. “Who did this?”
Bonnie looked around the room; everyone instinctively stepped back. She whispered, “I think I just saw Ella. After the accident, Ella disappeared as if the was never there.
“Damn Joseph, normally calma, was notorious for losing his temper when it came to Lenore and Bonnie. He swore, “Anyone who dares to mess with my people must have a death wish?”
If something had truly happened to Bonnie here today, this theater would be reduced to ashes by nightfall. Josephi called to Orion. “Check the hallway cameras, and get everyone to the front.”
When Victoria was alerted and rushed over, she saw Emily being lifted into an ambulance. Since Emily’s family couldn’t be reached, Bonnie went along with her. Orion brought his team and locked down the entire theater
In the might of the chaos, Salas was completely unfazed. He placed the coat over Lenore’s shoulders and gently rubbed her cold hands, reassuring her in a calm voice, “Don’t worry, none of them will get away”
The g
gentle scent of sandalwood from Silas’s cologne always had a calming effect. Lenore glanced at him, adjusted her coat on her shoulders, and moved forward. As she stepped out, she brushed past Virtonai.
Victoria was stunned by the striking beauty of the girl in front of her and blurted out, surprised. “Are you Lenore!”
Lenore give her a sidelong glance and replied plainly.
Victoria stood there in disbelief for a while. “Why are you here?” the eventually asked
Lenore raised an eyebrow, grinning playfully, “I’m here as a parent chaperone”
Victoria was left speechless as she watched Lenore walk away, unable to gather her thoughts for quite a while.

An assistant softly asked, “Who is Lenore!”
With a deep, enigmatic gaze. Victoria warned sternly, “The name Lenore isn’t something you should use so casually.” Then, as if remembering something, she instructed, “Find out which student came here with Ms. Smedley.”
