Chapter 82
Bonnie’s attire showed no signs of any specific culture, yet it was truly intricate and far more beautiful than anyone else’s, exuding grace and charm. But now, someone had cut it into strips of fabric…
“It definitely wasn’t me.”
“Who would be so mean?
“Who knows! There are so many people backstage, and without any surveillance…
“If you ask like that, who would admit it?“
Everyone around was sighing in denial, some were sympathetic, while others were gloating. After all, with one less competitor, their chances got a little better.
Lenore sat in
in the comer of the theater’s audience section, the glow from her phone casting a faint, eerie light on her face.
Siren: [Boss, there’s a group trying to snatch our goods]
Xtreme: [Who are they!]
Siren: [Thaloria, they’re insanely ruthless, Blood Raven nearly got caught off guard]
Lenore seethed. Things with Silas just never go smoothly. Thaloris was known for its herbs and even had the world’s third–ranking tech research institute. But she had never heard of Thaloria trafficking.
Lenore’s tongue swept across her palate, as she typed: [Tell Blood Raven to back off and let Thalonia have this shipment.] Just after sending it, her phone rang. It was Bonnie calling Lenore pressed to answer.
Bonnie said in a sobbing tone, “Lenore.”
The backstage door was kicked open. The person who entered was tall, with such delicate features they seemed almost unreal, surrounded by an aura of bloodthirsty energy. The vibe was intense, practically screaming “Don’t mess with me.”
“Lenore!” Bonnie’s eyes were red and she looked lost. This outfit was specially designed by Lenore for her performance, and now it was completely ruined.
Lenore swept the room with a cold gaze, her eyes filled with a chilling and intimidating ominous red. “Who just went into Bonnie’s dressing room?”
“Well” After a long pause, when the air backstage was almost frozen, a barely audible voice came from the corner.
Lenore glanced over. The girl couldn’t be older than eighteen or nineteen, wearing a simple fabric dress, visibly shivering from Lenore’s single look. After taking a deep breath, she pointed weakly at the two girls next to Esther, saying, “After Bonnie was called out, those two went in…
They were the same two girls who recently suggested that Bonnie and Esther switch places. Their names were Ellie and Haley. As soon as they were identified, their faces changed significantly
“Don’t talk nonsense!”
“You say we went in, do you
you have a
any proof?”
The girl, Emily, shrank back and then stiffened her neck, saying, “I even saw w you two with scissors, saying you wanted to make sure Bonnie couldn’t
Bonnie stared at them intensely “Why?”
Haley shot back, “We had scissors because we needed to fix our own clothes.”
Ellie gritted her teeth and said, “It’s the first time we’ve met, we have no issues with you, why are you targeting me?” As long as they kept denying it and there was no evidence, everything would just be empty accusations.
“I also saw the two of them go in! It was them who tricked Bonnie out on purpose just now! With one less opponent, there was less competition. Even though some didn’t want to get involved, a couple of people still stood up for what was right.

Chapter 82
“Don’t spread lies! Ellie and Haley argued, their eyes frequently darting towards Esther. But Esther had her eyes downcast and took a few steps. back, distancing herself from them. A hint of panic flashed across their faces. They hadn’t even changed clothes yet
Lenore asked, “Which one is their changing room?” Her voice was cold, carrying the command of someone in authority.
Someone instinctively pointed to Room 3. Lenore walked over, her clothing, fluttering, kicked the door open, and reached for a short dagger hidden at the back of her waist under her blazer.
With a swift turn of her wrist, the dagger flashed fiercely, slicing through the clothes hanging in the changing room at lightning speed, leaving only afterimages. After a series of “whoosh, whoosh, whoosh sounds, pieces of fabric were flying everywhere.
After a collective gasp, the entire backstage fell into dead silence. Everyone’s eyes were wide with shock, wondering who she was,
“There are only five minutes left before we start, what is everyone doing here!” At that moment, the person in charge
walked in.
Ellie, sering a lifeline, rushed forward and started crying loudly, “Some crazy person just came out of nowhere and shredded all our dance costumes we were going to wear! You have to stand up for us, Nancy!”
