Chapter 98
Brian found Brianna unreasonable
He didn’t say anything, closing his eyes to rest.
Brianna continued to mutter, 1 don’t care! You must not think about that bumpkin anymore! She’s not worthy always felt she wasn’t worthy from the beginning, and now she’s even more unworthy!”
When Natalie returned to Galaxy Manor, she felt physically and mentally exhausted.
As soon as she entered the living room, a fluffy white bundle with short legs came down the stairs, stumbling and tumbling because it was still young. It tumbled down several steps, landing at the bottom, and its head made a buzzing “meow” sound.
Natalie couldn’t help but chuckle and picked it up.
She then fed the kitten with a cat treat.
After feeding it, she held it and went to bed.

She still felt tired.
She thought that when Josh came back, she had to come up with an excuse to keep him from touching her for the next few days.
She really couldn’t handle in
In the evening, Josh came back earlier than expected, even before it got dark.
As soon as he entered the bedroom he saw this scene.
Natalie’s little face was gently pressed against the bed, pale, her eyelashes trembling lightly, sleeping soundly,
In her arms, she was still holding a snowy white kitten.
The air was filled with tranquility.
Josh stared at her for a few seconds, then he smiled and bent down to kiss her brows and eyes.
But at that moment, the little kitten seemed to be waking up
Ginger lazily yawned, blinked its blue eyes, and moved at him in confusion,
After meowing, it gave him a proud look and then snuggled into Natalie’s arms, finding a more comfortable spot to continue sleeping.
Its posture seemed like it was showing off
Josh’s brow twitched.
He licked the corner of his check, feeling somewhat displeased
He had never been held by Natalie while sleeping before.
At this moment, Natalie’s eyelashes trembled lightly, her eyelids half–closed, as if she was about to wake up.
And then, as soon as she opened her eyes, she saw Josh glaring at the little kitten in her arms.
Jensen’s bad words about Josh rang in her ears again, “Actually, Josh hates small animals the most! He’s just a pervert by nature! When he sees a dog sleeping on the side of the road, he has to go over and kick it…”
Natalie subconsciously hugged Ginger tightly and asked in a trembling voice, “You… you’re back?”
He came back quite early.
“Yes.” Josh sat down on the edge of the bed and locked his deep gaze on her. “I told the Mr. President that I wanted to come back carly tonight to see my wife. Considering that I just got married, he allowed me to come back early.”

Natalie’s cheeks flushed, and a sweet sensation filled her chest.
She thought, “What a sweet talker.
Josh rubbed her small cheeks. Perhaps because she had just woken up her watery eyes seemed even more innocent.
“Still in pain, babe!”
Natalie gently shook her head.
“It’s much better.”
Josh rubbed her linle head, saying, “Great”
After she finished speaking. Natalie regretted her words. She should have said it still hurt.
Maybe then, she could naturally discuss with him that they couldn’t.
But before she could come to her senses, she suddenly heard him say. Tomorrow morning. Mr. President arranged for me to go to Astoria to handle some miscellaneous matters. It might take a few days before I can come back
She was startled. “A few days?”
“Shortest three days, longest one week.”
Josh stared into her eyes.
He didn’t miss the flash of joy and excitement in her watery eyes.
Josh Licked his lips in dissatisfaction.
He thought. This little heartless one!
Natalie lifted her eyes and saw his gaze, piercing and substantial, fixed on her as if it could penetrate her soul.
Her eyelashes trembled slightly.
She felt a bit guilty, fidgeted with her palms, and softly inquired. Are you leaving tomorrow!”
“Yep.” Josh’s thin lips curved into a smile. “Nat, you send me to the airport tomorrow, okay?”
Natalie nodded, looking at him cautiously. Then we should rest early tonight.”
Josh’s raised his eyebrows slightly in a playful manner,
He thought. So that’s what she was concerned about!
“Yes” He pinched her small face. “Of course.
“By the way,” he suddenly said, “the flowers in the garden have bloomed. Shall I take you to the backyard to see them!
“Okay.”
Natalie got up, and Josh casually picked up the troublesome cat by the nape of its neck and tossed it back into the pet room.
The little cat meowed in his hands.
It was in the backyard of the Galaxy Manor Villa.
The path, made of cobblestones, was shaded by lush trees.
Amidst the short grass, countless roses were in full bloom, their branches intertwined, looking like a red sea of roses.
It was incredibly beautiful.
There was also a swing entwined with flowers.
The evening breeze carried the scent of flowers, gently brushing against the visitors‘ checks, making them feel relieved.
It felt like a wonderland.
All the tenderness and romance were hidden in this sea of flowers.
Josh’s gentle voice slowly sounded in her ear, “You like roses, and these are all for you.”
