Chapter 3
Josh tenderly held Natalie’s foot, placing her leg in his lap. He carefully cleaned the blood with a tissue. Then, using a cotton swab soaked in antiseptic, he dabbed it on her cut to stop the bleeding. The antiseptic stung, making her clench her fists.
Josh noticed her stiffness and asked, “Does it hurt?”
Natalie frowned and admitted, “Yes, a little bit.”
“Tell me if you feel pain.”

But it got easier as he continued since he was careful not to hurt her more.

It was hard to get chowder from Royal Restaurant because it was said to serve only heads of state and politicians. Even if the Linney family wanted to buy something, they had to make an appointment a week in advance.
Natalie could tell that Josh was no ordinary man. She had heard or seen almost all the celebrities in Gobis, but she couldn’t figure out who he was.
“What’s the matter?” he asked.
“Nothing,” Natalie took a sip of the chowder under Josh’s attentive gaze, feeling a little awkward.
Just as she didn’t know what to say, Josh suddenly said in a low and cold voice. “I’m sorry for what happened today. I’ll give you whatever you want as compensation”
