Taunting Each Other
Waking I walk down, my dad sitting there with Jasper. I walk straight past him and hug my dad.
“Morning princess, what are your plans today?” He smiles at me as I grab a coffee.
“Oh, I don’t know. Tracking down old friends, old boyfriends, nothing too fun.” I feel Jasper glaring at me.
“Please tell me you’re joking princess.” I turn and look at my dad.
“Why Daddy?” I smile innocently.
“Because they don’t deserve you, friends, sure, but those guys don’t deserve you. Come to the club, I have someone for you to meet princess.” Ah, my dad’s trying to set me up.
I laugh at the thought, especially as Jasper looks shocked. He nudges my dad and looks at him confused.
“Little D is new, he’s her age and needs showing around the city.”
“He’s also new at bikes, only been riding a year. Are you sure you shouldn’t get one of the guys to help him?”
“I will do it, Daddy, I could do with making some new friends, and if they have bikes it makes it easier to meet up when I leave.” I take out my phone and look at the dating app.
“Thank you, princess. You can meet us there in about two hours, I need to leave. I will see you soon.” He kisses me and leaves with Jasper, I
stand reading the messages. I don’t plan to do anything. I joined the app a month ago but never felt comfortable meeting anyone.
My profile doesn’t show my face, again a precaution from Joel. clicking one of the messages I begin reading it.
A lot in common. I love my bikes, so I have a question, your profile states you love bikes, and know how to ride but don’t own one. Is there a reason for this? I only ask as a woman in bike gear is hot, and your picture proves that.
I laugh at the message. I put on an old picture of me in my biking gear. Ideally, I would like to meet someone who likes bikes, they would then get along great with my dad. I read the message and consider what reply.
“Really!” I jump and turn to see Jasper.
“What?” How long had he been standing there?
“Stop acting like a brat Harley, and doing in front of your fucking dad. Why? Do you really think your words have an effect on me?”
I stay looking at my phone while smirking. “You came back to tell me off, so that says something I said had an effect on you.” The guy in the message is local to here, I don’t recognise him from my dad’s club, so maybe he doesn’t know him?
“I came back to tell you to grow the fuck up Harley. Your dad will ask what the hell is going on if you keep acting like a brat. So stop, and fucking behave!”
His words have me laugh out loud. “I’m sorry, I may have called you daddy but that didn’t mean you can order me around or that I would listen. You should probably leave before my daddy does begin to
wonder why you’re here still.” As I finish talking the phone disappears from my hand.
“Not until you actually pay attention and listen, Harley!”
“Sorry, but I don’t do as I’m told, now give me back my phone.” I hold out my hand waiting for him to give it back to me.
“When you listen. That shit with your dad needs to stop before he starts asking questions. You’re his fucking daughter! I’m his best friend, do you really not realise how fucked up that is?”
I smirk at him. “See, you didn’t see it as fucked up while I was gagging around your cock last night while you fucked my mouth, did you?”
He glares at me. “That was an accident.”
I laugh too loud. “Oh, was it one of those accidents, where she fell and landed on his dick, but instead, you somehow told me to get on my knees and accidentally slipped inside of my mouth?” Hell, he is fun to taunt. He moves quickly, his hand grasps my neck as he slams my body against the fridge.
“See, Uncle Jasper, you just can’t keep your hands off me. You tell me to behave but look at you. Now, can I please have my phone?” I hold out my hand waiting while smiling. His eyes go from me to the phone. and he freezes.
“What are doing on that website?”
My eyes roll and he glares at me.
“Right now nothing, as you have the damn phone!” I go to snatch it back and he moves it, still keeping his hand wrapped around my throat.

“Are you fucking crazy? It’s a website that’s mostly used for a quick fuck. Not for people who can actually have relationships and get sex like normal people.”
“You see Daddy, I apparently can’t get sex like normal people, you proved that.” He stares shocked, and it gives me a chance to grasp the phone from his hand. I hit the button so it locks.
“Harley! Stop. I watched you fucking grow up! I should never have touched you last night. I’m sorry for doing that, for making you think that meant this was more than it would ever have been.”
“You see, you say that, but I never thought it was anything other than a bit of fun. I didn’t expect marriage or even a relationship. I was ready for us to use each other equally last night then never do it again.”
“What? Harley you should want that, you shouldn’t be happy fucking anyone and everyone and getting yourself labelled a whore.” I swing my hand and it hits him hard.
“Fuck you! The rest I can live with, but calling me a fucking whore? You don’t even know me, or my life. So you can’t say shit!” I scream in his face.
“Based on how quickly you let me touch you in that room while you danced it shows you do it far too often.” He looks smug, like saying that has made him win.
I push him back and fight back the tears. “I don’t care what you think. You didn’t seem to care last night either.” I move back more and he watches me. “You assume that night was an indication of how wild I am and how often I fuck people, well you’re wrong, that was the first time in over a fucking year a guy has even come close to me.” I walk
out and slam the door.

Jelling in my car I drive to the club, I know my dad said in two hours but my mum is out and I’m not sitting at the house alone all day. I walk into the club and people turn and look at me. I can’t see my dad anywhere.
“Now Harley, are you meant to be here?” I turn to see Diesel and laugh.
“My dad said to meet him here, not for a few hours, but I’m bored at home.” I shrug and he nods.
“Sit I will get you a drink and you can catch me up on what’s happened.” He pours me a drink and hands it to me.
“It’s been years, even your dad–said he never saw you anymore.” He looks at me curiously. “He was worried Harley, his little girl disappearing, your texts were vague as well, he kept considering tracking down that Joel guy to ask him what you were doing.” He laughs, but I can see he is being serious.
“I just wanted to get my courses done. If I had come home, I would be distracted and then find it harder. I knew coming home would have me feeling worse when I had to leave again.” It’s a lie but I can’t have people searching into what I was doing.
“Is that all?” He looks at me worriedly. “Look, this club is like your family Harley, if you don’t feel like you could tell your dad, tell me, or Lucas or even Jasper.” I look at him shocked and he smirks slightly.
“Harley you’re forgetting I have a daughter a little older than you. I have seen all the faces, I know them. Whatever it is, your dad won’t be mad, tell him.”
“I can’t, Uncle Diesel you know my daddy, and you know exactly how he reacts to issues. All he needs to know is everything is fine.” I smile

and he hugs me.
“If you’re sure?”
“I am, please don’t say anything. It will just make it harder for me when
I
go back to finish my course. Being back has made me realise I missed everyone though, so I will visit more.”
“Promise me you will visit, if you disappear and don’t come back for months then I will tell him there was something.”
“He got you to talk to me didn’t he?” I should have fucking known.
“He asked a few of us to listen out, that is all. A few of his clubs were watching out for you but you never showed at any of the locations, which in itself he found weird.” Shit, I didn’t even think of what, I would also call in at one of the clubs.
“Yeah, the clubs distracted me from studying, so I made a pact with myself not to step into one until I was nearly finished.”
“Move!” I jump and turn seeing Jasper. “Do you realise what would have happened if your dad had walked in and saw you sat here with his arm around you?” Diesel drops his arm and shrugs.
“Jasper we were talking, I hugged her as she was upset, nothing more.” I watch as Diesel walks off and Jasper stays staring at me.
“You jealous fucking creep!” I seeth the words.
“Not jealous, but had your dad walked in Diesel would have lost hist fucking arm.”
“Well, Diesel seemed to think it was worth the risk to comfort me after I spoke to him.”

Jasper stares at me shocked. “You fucking told him?”
“No, see you are expecting me to speak about what happened Jasper, but now I realise I don’t want anyone to find out I let you touch me. Now leave me alone, and stay out of my way until I’m gone.” I turn and ignore him standing there until I hear him walk away.
I sit alone, every now and then one of the guys who remember me comes to say hello, but for the most, they don’t stay long, probably because I can feel Jasper from behind me glaring at them.
