Chapter 80
The next day, Ella returned to the company and terminated the ongoing collaboration with the Denison Group, which sparked significant opposition from others.
However, her decision was firm, and no one could change her mind.
Finn was still by her side as the head of the group, but had less real power than before.
He looked at her now, capable and independent, his eyes deep with unspoken thoughts.
Ella was busy in her office and didn’t expect him to come find her.
Knowing her taste well, Finn brought her a cup of coffee.
“Don’t overwork yourself. I can help you handle these matters, he said.
“I need to grow on my own and become a capable leader. Finn, you’ve already helped me so much,” she replied, masking her true emotions as she sparred verbally with him.

He watched her, wanting to say something but hesitating, his fius clenching and unclenching.
“What is it? Do you have something to say?” she asked, also waiting for his confession
She thought, “Why is he doing this? Has he taken a bribe from someone else, or does he bear a grudge against the Willow family! There is no need for shady dealings if we can talk things out openly!
But Finn just shook his head. “Nothing just worried you’re overworking yourself. You’ve been performing well lately; you’ve grown. You’re even more beautiful now than before.
*I will continue to be,” she said with a bright smile.
Finn asked. “We’re still friends, right?”
“Of course.

say anything else and turned to leave
Ella hesitated for a long time but didn’t tell Devin about this.
She wanted to handle it herself, to minimize the group’s losses while preserving her friendship with Finn.
When Devin was gravely ill and she was unable to take over the group, Finn truly helped her a lot at the critical moment.
She would always be grateful to him, no more than that.
Because of the advertisement at the banquet, Ella’s studio’s business flourished.
She served high–level clients herself and shared generously with Yale, helping him grow quickly so he could take over her position.
Thus, Ella had been extremely busy, sometimes returning home late at night, and collapsing into bed without even a chance to have a proper meal with Jaden.
She designed clothes for people without charging and thanked them for coming
All they needed to do was wear her designs to banquets and performances, acting as her living advertisements, and she was content.
Soon, Jody Studio became well–known, primarily handling mid–to–high–end industries.
Ella was incredibly busy when Liana called her, asking for a meet–up.
“I don’t have time,” Ella responded, not giving her any face.
“Are you sure? I can cure his illness. Are you sure you don’t want to come?”
Ella’s hand that was about to hang up froze instantly,
She had consulted many famous doctors, but none had given a definitive diagnosis Could Liana really be so capable as to find a cure?

“What if you’re lying?”
“I won’t joke about Jaden. You’ll know when you come.”
Liana asked her to go to the hotel in an hour
Wary of Liana’s tricks. Ella brought two strong bodyguards with her.
Meanwhile, Liana called Hank.
“I want to see Jaden. Have him come, oric
can’t guarantee what I might do.
Hank wanted to ask more, but Liana hung up abruptly.
Hence, Hank had no choice but to find Jaden.
Jaden worried Liana might say something inappropriate to Ella, hesitated for a moment but decided to go.

He rushed to the hotel where Liana was staying gand the moment he entered the room, the smell of alcohol filled the air.
Liana was heavily intoxicated, wearing a sexy black gown with a plunging neckline and a high slit exuding a strong aura of
aura of allure.
He watched indifferently, unmoved.
Liana slithered up me at a distance!”
to him like a snake, cupping his face before saying, “Why do you treat me this way! You know how much I love you. Why keep
Jaden said, “You’re drunk.”
“You never let me drink in the past. You said you worried when I wasn’t by your side
“I don’t want to hear about the past.”
“Why?”
Liana cried with tears streaming down her face because she was unwilling to
to accept it.
She had returned confident that Jaden was hers, but everything had changed and Jaden remained unresponsive.
Liana pushed him onto the sofa, straddling him, but he remained indifferent
She brought a glass of red wine to his lips, but he disdainfully avoided it
The wine spilled, staining his white shirt red.
Finally, Liana broke down and cried. “I love you so much. Why won’t you accept me; You haven’t told Ella your true identity because you don’t trust her or love her enough. Why stay with her?
“We grew up together, inseparable. We used to talk about everything. It’s only been a few years and how can you abandon me?
Jaden had had enough of Liana’s self–made tragic love story.
His patience worn thin as he gripped her neck, looking at her darkly.
“Have you acted enough? Can’t you perform solo? Why drag others into your play? Who couldn’t accept that I was a fool and threatened suicide to break off the engagement, bringing your parents to call it off?
“You were afraid and backed out. I understand; it’s human nature and I don’t blame you. But now you’re bark, what’s your plan? How much did Finn pay you to come back? If it weren’t for your father’s mismanagement abroad, almost going bankrupt and needing funds urgently, would you have even come back?”
He had finally pierced the last veil of their past.
The reason why he did not leave her alone was because of their past relationship,
But Liana mistook it for genuine deep feelings, which was laughable.
Liana stared at him in shock, tears still hanging. “When did you find out?”
“Since you returned.”

“You kept track of me, so you still care about me, right? That’s why you investigated so thoroughly?”
Liana’s ashen face suddenly flushed with excitement upon thinking
Jaden sneered. “You’re overthinking. I had my eyes on Finn’s every move, and it happened to lead to you. If it weren’t for Finn contacting you, I’d have forgotten you”
“Impossible!” Liana screamed in distress.
“I advise you to leave soon. Don’t make an enemy of someone you shouldn’t, jaden said.

But 25
all he needed, he pushed her away mercilessly and stood up to leave.
as soon as he stood up, he felt dizzy and his breath unsteady, wondering how this could be since he hadn’t drunk the wine,
Liana seemed to see his surprise and explained, “There’s nothing wrong with the wine, it’s the incense.
A smug unile appeared on Liana’s face.
“I also called Ella. When she arrives, things will naturally progress, I didn’t say anything, but if she sees this, it’s
“You”
Jaden’s face turned even darker as the incense was potent
His hand involuntarily reached for Liana’s waist, gripping it tightly as if something was about to happen.
not my fault, right?”
